So it's better that games stays butchered for all those who have some lag? Talk about selfish, entitled elitism. Bah.

didn't they say it will be fixed in 2.1. wait and see if not fixed then start complaining.

It wasnt fixed in 2.1
What a shame, I was honestly hoping for better news. I guess I'm going to have to stop hoping and just accept the fact that SE won't/can't fix this issue. I really wished SE was going to help players not have their FF adventure cut so short.
So sad really, since I liked many aspects of the game itself. It's like owning a Ferrari with a flat tire you can never change.
In Coil and trials it's much better now. Dodging Eruptions, Plumes and Weight of the Land and laser without many problems.
Haukke Manor HM? Couldn't get out of silly Dark Mist...
I didn't have problems before, and now I really don't have problems. If anything I had to retrain myself not to be so punchy with boss positioning and premoving.
That's what these forums are for. Me taking an "opinion as gospel" would be saying you're nothing but a white knight due to your comment.
Ri_ri's comment seems to contradict your logic of "It was fixed on endgame instances," unless you don't consider certain Hard Mode instances as endgame. As a result, I based my hypothesis on the prediction that SE had fixed (i.e. increased the positioning rate) for instances that people had complained about previously and would be lazy to implement these changes to new instances (due to server inadequacies).
I welcome second opinions greatly and not posts that are a complete waste of space.
Glad you're having no troubles. However, since you did not experience the problem to begin with, your data is excluded from the analysis since it does not help answer the question: "Has the netcode issue been fixed?"
It's not going to be a complete fix. What they did was increase the frequency that the server gets your location. If you are still getting packetloss or latency spikes then it is still possible to get hit by an AOE you were out of.
The increased frequency should result in a visible difference over dodging pre-2.1... but it doesn't fix it entirely.
