An update : Desert Yellow -> Aldgoat brown (12 berries, 6 apples, 6 pears)

Just fed it 15 berries, 3 apples and 3 pears. This time hoping to get a much darker shade. Ultimate goal is soot black.

From Midnight Blue to Loam Brown,I've manage to control the Numbers in proper order,the rest is deepen them all to soot black but i think i might need to hit Kobold Brown first .. I have Midnight Blue as well. I fed it two Pineapples, both of which triggered a "new feathers" message. Will see what it is in ~2 hours.

I'm at Apple Green right now, how many of what fruit to get me in the Soot Black range?

So a friend of mine wants HUNTER GREEN chocobo. Anyone know the feeding procedure needed in order to get it? Any help would be vastly appreciated

Midnight Blue > bought 3 pineapples > 1st Pineapple triggered the message. God damn it!!! I did the math for 3 :) Shoudl i wait or should i feed more?

If you haven't done so already, stop! You need to reduce red and blue, so I would suggest feeding it 6 mamook pears procs. Resetting at this point would waste all your effort.

I just did quick napkin math assuming +/- 5 per fruit, and it looks to me like 1 Pineapple isn't enough, 2 Pineapples has a shot at getting there, and 3 Pineapples would be the best bet. 4 would be too many.

Obviously I'm really not sure at all, but I stuck with 2. I'm thinking its going to be kobold brown, soot black, or possibly deepwood or even marsh green. I really doubt it will be something aside from those 4 possibilities.

Feed him all 3 Pineapples after playing with the RNG on web. From Midnight + 1 Pineapple you go to to Purple or something. Fed him all 3. Lets see :) So, from Midnight 3 pineapples, got the new feathers 3 times.
