Yeah SE has something good for E3 ....

......
This has got to be the fastest growing thread in the forums.
But I'm not whining about the CGI trailer I know nothing about, ergo, I'm not whining from a point of ignorance. I'm whining about other ppl's whining, which is fully informed by all of their complaints in this thread I am reading, ergo, it is not from a point of ignorance. It is also fully informed by the producer letter, as well as knowledge of other avenues of PR/hype, ergo, it is not from a point of ignorance. Idk if you get it yet, but read it 2 or 3 more times and I'm sure itll click. Seriously, why make me waste my time on something so dumb. I mean that was a serious fail attempt at trying to use my words against me. It didn't work at all, and it is plainly obvious you tried way too hard. The trick is to not "force" contradictions where they don't exist, and to make it more or less effortless. I fully admitted to whining, but im not being stupid about it. And if you can't honestly see the difference between the two that is a personal matter. I dont know if you were trying to troll or what but that was just silliness. My argument was not about whining, it was about not being stupid about what you're whining about.
You could've spared me the pain and just used to the last 3 sentences, the ones that make sense. In which case I will reiterate, again, that there is a difference between whining out of ignorance/lack of forethought, or whining after doing some critical thinking. The latter complains for valid reasons, the former complains about the wrong things. If you're going to whine, then whine about not seeing a trailer that you wanted see. Don't whine about how SE is gonna fail, and they messed up, because that is just stupid. I can't stress how stupid that is. And I'm sure you can see how utterly stupid it is, so I have nooooo idea why you even started arguing with me. All im sayin is, there's a difference. And there is. If you say "lol doesn't matter" fine, but don't make me read all the crap beforehand. Seriously.

I know a lot of pple were thinking that XIV would be renamed to XV and now that the cat is out of the bag...
Did SE pull the trailer because they thought that XIV 2.0 would completely be overshadowed by XV?
That does make some sense. But at the same time I was disappointed that XIV isn't going to be renamed to XV..... unless its XVI? :)
Well that looks fake. Lots of sketchy things going on in that video.
I do like that Final Fantasy Dimensions was announced however, really...really looking forward to that.

Is Hiromichi Tanaka on the PR team?
Ya it's possible that when THM get's Blizzaga it may offer the ability to freeze mobs. In I think FF7 was where Freeze's secondary effect was to freeze a mob but they changed it to reduce enmity in this game to draw a different from flare and Burst. Flare is a cone AOE with the chance to do a DoT and then Burst is the only AM which can be comboed with the other line of magic to grant increased dmg with lesser HP.
Then again.. what point would Freezing a mob actually serve with the ability to use sleep and sleepga unless we're taking this Freeze as an AOE Blizzaga which grants the freeze effect which can act as a less potent sleep effect but also deals dmg.
XIV being renamed to XV is not an intelligent idea at all. What, would you have I through XIII, then nothing, then XV?
Give it a Slow effect - problem solved! Would make sense, as well. And would likely be more popular in parties (where Binding is a non-issue) than Blizzaga's Bind. Alternately, they could give it some variation of Stun, though that's already available via (non-Combo) Thundara.
um....you apperently didnt watch the video, it was 15
but that looks like a CONSOLE game, so yeah, it has nothing to do with this anyway, since its obvious theyve probly been working on it for a while anyway(wouldnt doubt 16/17 are probly in the works too or at least more games)
Why does everyone think XV is a bad idea?
If anything if it turns out to be a good game XIV will get great publicity, after they beat FFXV which is a finite game they will come flocking to the infinate possiblities of ffxiv especially with 2.0 looking like the most badass MMO ever made.

ALL JUNK YAY LOL
I object lol:
Quantum Conundrum/American Mensa Academy™ puzzles game are always A-ok in my book if they are actually engaging I may consider getting them.
Sleeping Dogs:Open world game which could be interesting depends on how the trailer looks and it if has anything to draw uniqueness compared to other open world games.
HITMAN: ABSOLUTION: I've never played this series so can't really give a fair opinion since it's never really grabbed my attention
Gameglobe™:Sounds like their version of lbp which could prove to create some interesting user-generated games.
TOMB RAIDER®: If I'm not mistaken this is suppose to be the prologue which introduces how she become who she is today so the idea is to have her start out as a fearful person afraid of the situation she's in and then watch as she builds up into a more courageous adventurer. From what I remember the mechanics they showed look interesting so it'll be interesting to see where they've gone since then.
DEMONS’ SCORE™/DariusBurst™ Second Prologue™/RayStorm™GUARDIAN CROSS™/IOS games I don't really have interest in since I don't have said console/phone/ipad bs, while Guardian Cross looks like it could be interesting I just wish they could also put these games on pc at least.
THEATRHYTHM™ FINAL FANTASY®: think I remember reading it'll have over 70 tracks so that's quite a bit of music to listen to, for it's price tag even if you aren't a fan of rhythm games it could also sell itself as a cheap CD soundtrack if it does offer a music player in game XD
HEROES OF RUIN™:Kinda sounds like their version of Monster Hunter or maybe closer to Diablo though I would see that it's fault looks like for online play you have to be one of each you can't change the variation of classes so if a person is a gunslinger you have to pick another character. It would appear the gameplay works as you always have 4 teammates but at anytime a person can jump in and take control of another player most likely with their own avatar rather then the one you're using. it could be fun but it's lack of true customization with party setups may hurt it unless it offers a unique way to develop a character's skills.
KINGDOM HEARTS 3D [Dream Drop Distance]:I haven't picked up a title in a while but I"m sure the story is still decent, I just wish it would continue with the main line rather then all these tangents they seem to be adding to this series causing it to become over-saturated lol
FINAL FANTASY® DIMENSIONS™: another ios/android game that I wish they would put on a console, the concept sounds interesting but it's lack of being on a reasonable system sucks lol. I'll most likely look at the trailer even though the odds of it being on a system I'd buy are low.
KooZac™/Motley Blocks™/Qwirkle™/SolaRola™:More ios I won't bother looking at, it really does seem they are taking a heavy focus on those system since they might be able to produce said games at a quicker rate even though they may only sell for 5-20 or even less. I doubt any of these game will break the 20 dollar mark but the reason why so many ios are being made is because the aspect of making games of this caliber have an easier time to profit rather then making a game that takes years to make like 13 or versus 13.
Sadly more companies will find themselves making more "indie" like games because it's just easier to profit from them, just look at Minecraft such a simple game that was a huge hit because of what it offered imagine if a bigger company made something like Minecraft and I mean like Minecraft but even more advanced they'd have a goldmine if done right lol.
With the current industry gamers will most likely find themselves seeing less high tech games since their revenue/profit ratio is just harder to reach then a game that's made with lower graphics. People may be interested in seeing what a next gen sony/xbox system will offer but honestly what's the point of adding a new generation of gaming if it's only offer will be even greater graphics to the point that producing the world will take years and by the time you make said world the next gen system would have come out lol.
I kinda of see games taking the handheld route soon enough if ios do profit enough companies will focus more on making handhelds which are pretty much a pickup and go kinda way of gaming, with sucha busy world we live in now people would like to squeeze in fun when they can and when it comes to gaming you can't pick up a ps3/360 and play it on the bus/train/plane.

That's enough of that though it's just seeing so many ios/android games being released it really looks like SE is pushing to market the on the go gamer and it could prove to work in their favor, I'd just hope that after a while they can actually branch those games onto the vita or 3ds to expand the market for those games and profit more on them.
I am happy with more iOS games.
Why isnt FFXIII Versus included in that list :o
e3 is looking great for square-enix this year!
ya i don't know what SE is doing anymore people want remake of FF7 and i mean if they make one for the ps4 and the new xbox it would sell more copys then any ff release in the last 10years. I myself dont' care about ff7 remake but i mean come on if there a lot of support for something why not lol.
I hope they come out with something that sell a lot and bring the company back on it's feet.
Did i say anything about bankruptcy? SE is not really doing good sense fail FFXIV/FF13 not everyone liking SE anymore and there really not a big fanbase for final fantasy anymore.
All i'm saying i want them to make a awesome game and sell a lot of copy so maybe even others who give up would go out and buy it.
Yes FFXIV did fail, but one fail game doesn't make SE suddenly not doing well because they have alot of other games outside FF series and FF13 sold for 6m copies btw. Maybe there are fanboys that doesn't like SE's new approach on FF games but they are clearly in minority. Alot of people enjoys FF13/FF13-2, it just so happens that people that hates them is the loudest one.
I agree, though i suppose that is every game developer's goal. :P
The After Years was a big dissapointment IMO, but like I said they have made some interesting mobile games before. In fact I had an ipod nano game years ago which turned your favorite songs into monsters to use in an srpg environment... I can't recall the name now but it was fantastic.
Some people did not play FF7 so a remake would be nice. I would love to experience the game in HD graphics.
Sadly SE stated that they had no intention of doing a remake. They said they would need a team of 300 pple and at least 5 years to remake the game but that they would only do it if they were sure it would be as good or better than the original.
