• Tells you you and others damage (parse)
• Check the market without being near the market
• Tell you when hunts are spotted and where they are exactly (based on community data I guess, so it's not a perfect system)
• Reduce a hardcoded animation lock so you can double and triple weave
• Hide or change players (graphics in general)
• Modify UI elements (though that should be obvious by this point)
• Help you play cactpot
• Help you play Triple Triad (NPCs only) - I want to note here that is is pretty interesting that developers self control their works to try and not to ruin other player's experience. Kind of sweet/cute.
• Info in deep dungeons
• Show exactly where your trigger pixel is so you can dodge AoE's insanely well
• More powerful UI features in general like filtering spam, blocklist, teleport ease, etc.
• Macros that can call other macros or be as long as you'd like
• Improved mouse over macros

• Most epic one I saw, adds chat bubbles.. XD

I use the chat bubbles one, it is really great and I would hate not having them anymore :)

Suggestion not to say you use anything, even benign ones like that. If it's not the enb/reshade type tool then it's in the danger zone. As an aside, I love chat bubbles in WoW and I find they add a lot to being able to smoothly exist in the world. If SE added them I / would / use them.

Oh another one that exists which I realized I didn't put in the list that I think would be huge QoL for the game, let's you know in item tooltips if you have earned that collectable before (songs, mounts, minions, cards, etc).

Some I think are still like no way that would realistically be added, but in general I'd highly encourage SE to see this as a friendly competition (if add-ons are to never be added officially). There are visibly certain desires player really want that they self made, SE can see them now in physical form.

I miss WoW's chat bubble functionality so much. That and texts separately timing out from the chat log so that the chat window fades to the extent it has gone without anything new.

Still hoping to get an addon, or a default QoL change, at some point that'd partially grey out Need/Greed options for gear I already have, or even auto-pass...

While for the most part I agree with you, there is one thing Alexander does which causes me hard to consider using it. Chat Bubbles. Honestly, this is one thing the game has needed from the beginning, and makes RP a million times easier. But the issue I have with Alexander is how much data they have access to when you use it. I can't help but fear malware could be installed if I use it. (Or worse) which is the one and only reason that stops me everytime.

It's a client launcher, and Addon installer. It basically does what the Steam client does, but it also installs addon support into the game client, and comes prepackaged with several useful addons, I believe you can add more to it as well. The issue with it, is you use your login info into their client. Which means if they ad any update with a key logger they can highjack your account.

I would be okay with the hunt-related plug-ins if not for the fact that they're datamining the client to know the precise location of S rank hunts the instant they spawn (Something that's only possible due to the fact that they have infinite draw distance/rendering priority). It leads to hundreds of people from across the datacenter trying to crowd into a zone so quickly that it's often too late to even get word out to the locals via manual relays.

The advantage they provide for other types of hunts is limited as you still need to actually be near them to get information.

I like it when people bring up the Cactpot thing without realizing the tool doesn't have access to any additional information. It just sees the visible numbers and tells you which spots are the most likely to be what you need. Same as manually inputting the numbers on an external website, which is what people did before the tool existed.
