Pretty sure ACT is just a packet sniffer.

On the upside, if they enforce file signing and checking we would get the option to repair an installation of ffxiv as a side effect, rather than the game exploding when it runs across a corrupted file.
Our characters don't have nipples.
Mods created for nipples should be banned?
So many people exaggerating things here.
I never understood the 'find help' suggestion.
Like, do you mean spend thousands on a therapist?
Inform family members about your opinions on FFXIV and Lalafell?
Self-report to your local police about your particular stance?
Can you elaborate so I have context - because I always hear that exact quote in internet arguments.
Blaming ERP or grooming on modding is such a cop out. The sexual activity and open fetishization is more rooted in the way internet culture has developed and seems more prevalent and overt in weeb environments. If S-E wants to enforce bans to try to protect their brand that's fine and totally understandable, but it's also worth mentioning that the mods being discussed are extreme outliers that are probably illegal and thus aren't even allowed on discord or the main modding sites - it would be more difficult for anyone, or a minor especially, to stumble across something like that. Meanwhile, in game you can find things like this in droves...

I've even seen Lalafell fetish fellowships pop up in there from time to time. They could get rid of modding, and one of the cooler things about this game on PC would be gone, but the ERP and the subcultures of this player community would remain.
