I could see this working...with the following restrictions:
1) No more than 10 items per synth.
2) No possibility of HQing.
3) Less SP per synth and/or higher failure rate (only because in essence you are Hasty Handing multiple synths)
4) No acquired skill ability use. (ie. no options for Preserve, Fulfillment etc.)
5) Only usable for refining raw materials or making uncomplicated items. (ie. you could mass craft Logs to Lumber but not Lumber into let's say masks. You are not an assembly line for more complicated items.)
6) No finished products (ie. armor parts, weapons, jewelry etc.) could be created with it.
7) Should be an acquired option at crafting 20 or possibly even higher. Possibly a reward for doing the first quest for that guild.
8) Should not be usable for synths more than 5 levels higher than your current level.
Basically it would used for second tier items you may need to perform a higher level synth with to level. That has always been my biggest time sink was making the raw materials into something I could use to craft something to skill off of.
