I just realized that the new goobue is wearing a crown of flowers. A CROWN. Meaning that he is of a higher lineage and of noble birth, in contrast to the legacy goobue (who is obviously a peasant because he wears a floor rug).

Well going by the item description we have to use to call it forth. I am guessing it is more a common goobbue that is just horny and is wearing a flower crown to make him/her more attractive to a potential mate.

Hopefully no accident will happen between the goobbues and the adventurers. This seems to be a far more dangerous mount to use.

Maybe it's just me, but while I think goobbues are kind of cute from the front, I don't know that I'd care to ride one due to seeing his wrinkly butt all the time.

MMOs reskin mounts all the time, even "exclusive" or "limited" ones. I'm surprised so few people seem to have been aware of this. It isn't new, it's par for the course and should pretty much be expected, good or bad ♥

then there would be cause to claim that they promised A goobue mount would only be available to 1.0 players.
the fact that they look different, and lets not forget, all you had to do to get one of them was get lvl 30 on a class (any class by the way) and litteraly just talk to the minsteral. I could not possibly care less that a reskin is being added.

heck, I fully expect down the road to see a version of the legacy chocobo that lacks the markings and feather tips and a recolor of the armor. (and if they added that as a barding set, then I'd welcome the heck out of it as I'd love to use my Crested Storm Barding helmet with the rest of the Legacy set)
