The thing is though, they need to spend their time making something that will be fairly popular. And stay popular - they need a race that people will likely fantasia back and forth to several times. Legit beast races will only feed a small group of people. They know attractive rabbit girls will feed a whole lot more. Taking in the popularity of female Miqo'te and Au Ra, I think it's pretty obvious that Hyur+animal ears will win the race.

Lets look at it this way - no one can turn a blind eye to the fact that SE has been making more... unique footwear for our characters. At this point we have several boots that alter the entire shape of the foot to be more animal like - which happens to be the exact shape Viera feet are. It seems like to me they're trying to prep the game and test limits to see if these new designs would work right on a potential race they know many people want.Quote:
