My ISPs routing to JP is bad bad bad. Some have good routing and get like 150 naturally. For me, with WTFast, It goes from like 220 to 160. Wondering if Leatrix is going to improve that or not.

But yeah, you're kind of playing the game on hard mode by being on NA servers! 0.o.

Autoattack DPS appears to be significantly too high to me. The rest is a bit hard to judge by eyeball since the spreadsheets I've been playing with have a different order of operations.

Well, I've worked with two models to date. One of them is just EMX's inscrutable spreadsheet (updated for HW). The main things I'd like to "fix" about it in the near future (since hey, it's never quite done) are the skill speed DoT buff and adjusting the divisors for oGCD PPS to simulate that sometimes they are delayed slightly by GCDs.

The other, which I have not updated for HW at all, is a spreadsheet that lists every skill use for 8 minutes (arbitrarily chosen to cycle through BfB/IR evenly and give equal weight to opener vs. 100% HT/Disembowel uptime) and applies all buffs. It's pretty inflexible, but in part I found the technique useful for understanding monk opener optimization.

What I would like to build is plain old code (probably a Lisp of some sort because that's just how I roll). Spreadsheets are useful for dynamically experimenting with GCD sequences and visually diagnosing where DoTs fall off such, but these systems are a bit unwieldy when you know how all that works and just want answers. They're also unwieldy in other ways where static code is quite the opposite (commenting, revision control, writing functions to reuse math instead of making a whole new cell that has to be updated manually, testing hundreds of gearsets instantly...). Oh, and I'm just tired of copy/pasting numbers, heh.

I have a little about the class and the game in general : Is snapshotting a thing ?
If i get, say, a +20% dmg buff and apply a dot on the target, will the dot stay +20% after it fades on my character ?

I think so

Yes. Snapshotting is integral for almost all jobs in this game.

I'm in a similar situation. What looks like the best order for me is to buy the waist, chest piece, and helm. This gives a slightly high accuracy and skill speed, but nothing too bad. Then I'll go for the legs and boots, which should balance accuracy and skill speed nicely.

On a side note, for the opener, is it viable to swap the BFB and IR Priority?

So we go like this,

HT > BL+IR > ID > BFB+BotD ?

Because for some reason if I'm using the Adv. Opener as is, the BFB goes down right after Full Thrust, so the BFB doesn't buff the 2nd 4th that comes after Full Thrust.

Done a parsing vid for around 4 minutes, I mostly parsed myself on 3-3.30 minutes, never went full 4 minutes.
(I usually do better, parsed 1271 w/o partybuff no food no pots at i192 @3 minutes. Computer is kinda old and running camtasia on it + the usual latency made me lag and therefore killed my dps a bit). Hopefully I'll get some tips from you guys on what I can do better or not, keeping up BOTD while doing the 2 GK per B4B really gets tricky for me with all the latency, I even tried just doing my ID-DI-CT combo without weaving anything in to keep up botd at the last second but it didn't work out :c

If you don't mind me asking, how does the rotation and priority of abilities change for fights like A2 savage? I'm a monk main and I can optimize that fight well like that, but now that I'm trying things as a dragoon, I am a bit unsure. Halp.

I threw together a generic BiS with priorities being meeting the 590-620 SSpd and approx 647 Acc for A4S (rumor valued or confirmed?).

Note: This is 210 ilvl. This is not what is optimal for each wing but just a generic one to aim for to cover all the wings. OP handled specific sets for A1-A3.
