MH2 on the PS2 made me want to bash my head in with a rock while trying to beat the first Plesioth
I thought it was kind of funny that they made MHTri so easy compared to previous titles

Fighting plesioth is like fighting Ifrit, on screen you already evaded his shoulder tackle but it still hits you anyway.

And then while you're rolling around in animation lock he hits you again... And you die.

If you look closely the chest and horns seem to resemble Gaius Van Balesar.
Can't wait to see Darnus as Omega~

I'm going to make a prediction here, and say that Gaius realizes Nael's true intentions and attempts to stop him, resulting in him being turned in to Ultima. Upon defeat there will be a long cutscene in which he will ask for forgiveness for his sins, beg the players to end his life, and defeat Nael.

Hm. Torso is glowy..all Iron Man like..neat.

I still say, I have a hunch, that the video they show at E3 is going to have the in game renders of these 4 beasts revealed in some way. Sort of how the XI team briefly showed Odin when ToAU was announced.

I'd also really like to know what the scale of this thing is, compared to a player, just so we know what we're about to be killed by. lol

They all have the same two wallpapers... It's in their main lodestone page, just like ours.

Ultima is Gaius and Nael will be Omega. Looks like it with the full release.

Nael appears to have been introduced into the lore only after Yoshi-P took over. The Main Scenario shows us only Gaius.

If Nael is the "end boss" of the 12th Umbral Era sequence, as I suspect he will be, it stands to reason that he will not be in 2.0. SE then return to some of their original plans once 2.0 launches, a scenario without Nael van Darnus.
And this makes Gaius van Baelsar all the more interesting.

For some reason, I think the primals shot out, and the other shots were crystals and nodes.

I know... but as many shooting lights as you saw coming from a massive explosion...

What is a Primal? Primal isn't synonymous with beast tribe or elemental god...
Primal could encompass all planetary weapons...
My point is, with dozens... Possibly hundreds of big bad ass monsters released in the cutscene... there is only so much Shiva and Titan to go around.
We only got close enough to see 2 of them... but there is no reason not to believe that the other ones included the other primals PLUS all manner of living biological weapons and super mean bosses
