A Taste of Things to Come
How do you give this game the Final Fantasy Feel?
Most of the true Final Fantasy Die Hard's will continue to play FFXIV weather it's FTP or PTP; that is a fact. Those who choose to migrate away from greatness will let themselves be known and the ones that choose to stay will reap the benefits, as is the way it goes when changes are made to any mmo. That being said; I will get off my soapbox and start asking questions. :p
Q: Will there be a mail system implemented in the near future?
Q: Will there be abilities given to Linkshell Leader's to:
A: make a rank structure within the linkshell (assign special authority to players)
B: remove offline players from the linkshell (players that quit but still hold a slot)
C: promote / demote players from anywhere online or offline
Q: Will the current Linkshell system be overhauled; if so:
A: Can players see what zone each member is in?
B: Can players invite people to a party from the Linkshell list?
C: Can players see how long it's been since specific members last logged in?
Q: Will each player's guardian deity bare any weight in version 2.0?
Q: Will Faction Leves be improved? (rune stone gear is worthless at the moment)
Q: Will the 3 factions have a headquarters that we can visit?
Q: Will there be a memory system for what gear is equipped if you swap classes?
Q: Where is Kefka? I see this game is trying to relive some FFVI moments; i.e: a warmongering empire dead set on eradicating the primals (espers) and turning their energy into magitech (magicite) to power the war machine and rule the world!
Q: If you continue to follow the magitech ideas; could we have magitech armor or battle mechs (a possible mount concept).
Q: Could we have more storyline, class, job and side quests? The thing that makes people enjoy the Final Fantasy series is always the great captivating story and the characters that are in them... each character has his or her own story to tell, filled with a rich amount of inner-turmoil that gives each person someway of connecting to them.
Q: Can Cid be an NPC that we can talk to in the future? Don't hide him!
Q: Which summons are going to available when the summoner class is released?
Q: Could the Job System be the thing that we've been missing all this time?
A: Please don't give everyone level 50 jobs. All that would do is create a server full of overpowered idiots (OPI) or damage dealers with down-syndrome (DDD) i.e: button smashers!
B: In order for people to be the best that can be, they need to learn their job from the ground up. If you give a lvl 50 gladiator the job of paladin at lvl 50... they accomplish nothing, they need to learn the ins and outs to fully appreciate it.
C: Can we please learn abilities through quests instead of just getting it every 2 levels. We need to have an experience worthy of the Final Fantasy name.
