I don't think anyone has a problem with that stuff.. Like glamour logs, tackle box, Totems in currency tab, more things put in the armoire, a free 3rd retainer, etc..
It's the OP that has everyone so worked up.

I'm not against additional space, but there is always a way to cut down on what all you have on you/on your retainers so that you AREN'T using 8(while I do have 8, I know that if I actually didn't hoard items - yes, I admit I do this - I know I wouldn't need them). Getting rid of crafting items that you don't absolutely need right then and there that are extremely easy to get again(so basically anything that isn't on a timed node really) will help alleviate some of the bloat.
The biggest thing I find that causes the bloat, is the glamour items. For me alone, that takes almost 3 retainers. And that's with all my non-crafters at 60+. If they changed the armoire to accept EVERYTHING then that would help with the bloat as you wouldn't need a retainer to hold some of the items from raids that can, even with the new raid roulette, take a VERY long time to queue up for. A glamour log so we didn't need to keep any of it would be better, but the armoire change(with my limited - okay, none - knowledge of coding) would seem like a much quicker thing to implement. Though it doesn't change the glamour problem with shared gear...*looking at you level 70 tank gear I want different for all three...*
We really need a glam log at this point, it does not help matters with the high turnover in gear, i/e best gear is now outdated 1-6 months from now (depending on your standards) Everything else I have suggested pales in comparison that difference that would make. However hearing "server limitations for the last 2-4 years? They need to do SOMETHING with the inventory issue, like take out unnecessary items, something , anything.
I'm going to stop you right there and say that ever since red scrips were uncapped you do not need 3 characters to be an omnicrafter. In fact, you never have. In fact, I wouldn't say having access to specific specialists is a requirement for being an omnicrafter. Get your head out of your ass.
As for desynths, I don't know of a single person who feels the need to cover every desynthesis skill.
THe person I was replying to said they where an omicrafter since 1.0
You NEED 3 characters for that claim to be true, meaning 9 retainers since they stated running on "3" So it should not be a far fetched idea I do not have enough room with 8, plus having 3 chrs means 280 extra spots over those 9 retainers.
My situation is not odd, there is too much items in the game
Wow Momo, you really love stating things like they're universal facts huh? I suggest you stop where you're pushing a lot of people away and take a few steps down.
Plus don't forget, you have about 7 characters, right? If you're still running out of space, you need to get your priorities straightened out.
Now we see if what the GMs told me is true and hits you with a privacy violation
FYI, I tried using them like that, there is a time issue where they become not worth using them to hold items, your better off buying off the MB unless said item is really inflated. Also the one chr is useless because she was my "original character" but due to MSQ blocking access with crafting progress, she went completely unused HW+, though DURING HW I did use her a bit to craft housing items, and she has her own materials because of the time to exchange with me is not worth it. So no I do not use " 8 characters" as you put it. It is something I did attempt but proved not to be worth it. There is a complex story around it but make it short, they where made in 2.0 when I transferred to be with my LS here from FFXI. They where made "just in case" basically since 1 transfer = 8 characters, I did end up deleting one because I wanted remake the 8th but lock outs prevented it. They where also used in 2.0 to sell things, I think the limit back then was 2, and I needed more seller slots. ALL I did was craft, in 2.0 and changed near the end of 2.0 (meaning a few months before HW) Another big active moment for them was 3.4, since I knew new stuff would be coming out and wanted a huge amount of free slots, I gave them all my slower moving items to make room for the new stuff. So they are used to sell things, not hold items and craft.
In the end of things playing detective that far and finding me like that is stalkerish and creepy.
No idea who that guy is talking about you straight up reminded me of this author http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...space-increase
I wonder how far down the priority list this will be, now that SE is currently dealing with the Housing Primal.
If they don't start implementing solutions soon, they'll have both the Housing and Glamour Primals to deal with. Plenty of fervent followers to feed both.
