Dragoons... how do you feel post 4.0?

uhh.. those 4th.. ->4th!!<- combo atks still weak as a 2nd atk combo and having those annoying positional needs, wich I reaaaaally dislike <,< So I STILL wont use the 4th ones at all. - - - Not cool too is they removed there DoT atk, there Stun -.- and Slow stab, wich was really helpfull in PvE >.>

I don't know what to think of all this... :(
I am a Dragoon since the first beta of the first version in 2010. I always enjoyed it.

I just skimmed over the 4.0 changes for now but I don't like what I read. It's not like other jobs that have like a 80% "That's great" towards a 20% "I hate the changes" no, no one seems to like the new DRG.
But if I don't like it too, I don't know what class will I play (and well, up a new class to 70, well.......)

I'm only at 65 but i already feel i'm gonna be thinking the exact same thing when i hit 70.

Exactly how i felt. When i leveled my DRG it started to hit me hard that, GS at 35s kill the class; the loss of LS and Phle, were essential skill to keep the class feel like everything flow but now the class feel incomplete. Doing old content is a chore because we lost a massive chunk of damage and you feel even more like a slug.
The classes is joke with how long it take to build up your damage with the long CD that most boss go into a different phase right when you have your stacks and have to rebuild timer DRG pmuch ended as a wet firework with an overly delayed fuse..
If they reduce GS or SD cd, remove the 5 hit and return it to 4 hit with just increased potency on the active skills, fix mirage dive, then maybe DRG will be back in its glory and fun time but ATM.. I'll play my tanks or SAM, much more fun and enjoyable to play.

Also Mirage block you from using other skill for 1s despite the fact it's an OGC skill

This was 100% my experience as well. It's funny, having suffered through 2.0 jump-lock no MDEF Dragoon I thought I'd seen the worst.

Why can't Jumps be like in the old FF games, in that you are immune to attacks when jumping? :D

kek, because this would be stupid and overpowered?

3400-3500 on susano ex and think it was around 3800 for lakshmi

that 4100-4300 for susano i had there earlier i remembered it being from end of the fight but being in there again it was aparrently from end of first phase

there's nothing wrong in our lvl 70 rotation... having that fifth combo makes up for lost phle and mirage dive for leg sweep.

but for old content they could bring down lance mastery and mirage dive lvl

and why do you use mirage dive instantly after jump/ssd? you could easily just wait to use 1 more GCD and use mirage dive after that without creating any clipping...
