Yes I would stay because I love the game and I have Multiple 50's and Enjoying everything about it =)

It sounds like you're trying to take the Massive Multiplayer part out of the MMO.

If all his friends didn't play, he'd just make new ones with other players. It's a perpetual thing.

You're basically asking "If there was no human life on the server, would you still play?"

If there were absolutely no human players in the game, as in I'm the only actual player, then no, I probably wouldn't play, as it's no longer an MMO experience.

I see where you're going with this, but you can't do it that way.

XIV is designed as an MMO. Therefore, the other players are a part of the game. The game wouldn't be fun without the player, because the game is designed to use multiple players.

If it was the same game with no other human players and the content was adjusted to perform at as a single player, then yes, I would still play.

You're asking if the game is still fun without all the players. That's not a very educated question, because the game is designed around being multiplayer.
