Still looking. I met some creep that blocked me after I wouldn't give him what he wanted though. He was nice at first and I enjoyed their company prior to that. So I have a bad taste in my mouth lol. Hopefully I'll have better luck next time.

Don't give up. There are the creeps out there and then there are the nice ones. I had my share of the creeps as well when I was looking for a partner. It is the same in real life, you have to go through the bad ones to find the one that was meant for you, hang in there and keep looking. When you do find the right one for you it will have been worth it.

If you're on the NA server you have to pay to reroll on an EU server. Or else I'd have been lurking the NA players adverts too, it really sucks big time. :/
It's like £15 just to unlock it and then £15 on top to move a character to a new realm. After that you're locked to that new server until you pay again to go back, lmao.

I agree with you. A lot of ppl just fall in the trap of lust and forget to ask themselves if that is correct. The other pixel is controlled by another human being who may pr not like what I like or be in a relationship or not already.

I have many friends(female) who married someone for fun but then.. it wasn't very fun anymore when their partner got serious as if it was a real relationship. Things like possessiveness, trying to take things to new levels, and things like restricting them to their race because they want them to stay their race.

FFXIV is a game and imo, the eternal bond should not be used as a gateway to something that my become a RL relationship. Tbh I don't think it should even be discussed unless both people feel the other is ready for something like that. Other than that, I don't think relationships should be sought. I agree with Dreamsoap. Sadly, when two people marry in-game friendships are often broken between people because others are upset they couldn't marry one of them. That's a bad sign. This actually happened to my BF because one guy was getting out of hand so I told him off. He hates him now.. even though he was my BF go begin with

FFXIV is not a dating website or dating simulator so if that's what you're looking for in this thread, I think those places are for you(general you) instead. But I'm just a forum person xP. Bringing RL into something that's supposed to be kept in-game may not likely cause physical harm.. but emotional harm? Yes. For whatever reason.

Why is your bf marrying other than you? I don't think it is right a married person or a person in a relationship to look for a Random person and interact with that person for many weeks and become friends and then say "I'm in a relationship". I know a few ppl from this thread that actually experienced that.
The person they EB were just friends but flirtation was going out, but something didn't go well and then those ppl brought up that.."BTW I m in a relationship in RL". I am never attached to in game friends, but in real life I can be. I'm very possessive with my friends. If I think something is not good for them. I will discuss it. It amazes me when a bf/gf or spouse won't even play the game and EB their partner just cuz they don't play video games. From my experiences that I heard ft many friends problems, you need to friend zone the person you are thinking to EB because let's be realistic there is flirting one way or another. If one person just flirt with someone they like and the other person flirt to play around, things can get nasty. Any type of relationship with another human being needs to be planned.

@dreamsoap, IMO, the first person sounds like a hummingbird. He likes to receive love and leave things vague. The second person sounds indecisive. It is alright to do that with an object but with another person ? I think Maura shouldnt waste time and the second person will learn fr this mistakes to know how to talk with another person.
