TIL the phase change cutscene in Ultima Weapon fight where they talk a lot is the exact length of time of going to the kitchen, getting 4 double stuff Oreo cookies, a glass a milk, dunking them all in milk and consuming them all at a normal pace until the next fight starts.

Yes, asshole... I have Sprint on my hotbar but I was checking loot drops I need for this class while you ran ahead and died. I was just asking for you to not run ahead. If you enjoy death then that's fantastic but in your rush to clear the dungeon in 58 seconds you actually slowed us all down by dying. Sorry you lost your chance at World Record for Toto-Rak but next time just wait 5 seconds while I check the gear I need.

Had a surprisingly comfy run of Osborne earlier. Dragged half the bodies in my group around with me but nothing really bad happened until High Seraph.
Not just surprised with how often I get this in roulette anymore(seriously I waited hours in queue the first time to get it as a Healer, now it just happens), but also the fact that it's mostly second nature to me now.
Just had a really nasty Hashmal spawn and we lost most of the alliance. We then recovered but when you've only got half an alliance and half of that's been raised and is debuffed, you can't really meet the DPS check... It was actually fun though even if there was 5 people on my team dying on each major boss(and no sprouts/CS on my team either). Really helped that no one gave me or anyone else any lip nor did anything stupid like tanks fighting for aggro happen. No one really talked and people just dealt with things as they happened(like my tank giving it a go at Mustadio, getting sniped and another tank just taking over, no questions asked). Think the most anxiety I had that run was when another group's SAM got really, really close to the Seraph while 6 or 7 people in other groups were still in cutscenes. -
09-14-2022, 08:14 PMCheremiaThe dps check isn't that hard and beat it plenty of times with over half of the people being dead from Hashmal, mass raises were common, especially when the raid was new content. Even then it could be easily beaten (the healcheck was harder tho :C and rip to thundergod wipes because 3 people in the circles was really hard for some reason... ah the olden times lmao). So it was more people not hitting buttons, but anyways.Quote:

Accidentally type "hello" instead of my usual "nice work" at the end because these lines are pretty much on auto pilot nowadays.
Paladin calls me cringe for "having a hello macro".

Also Seraph's hitbox is weird during the fight. I have to tilt my camera up slightly to make sure it targets her. I'm used to it now but when I started it was so annoying. -

And if there's only one enemy, as with the High Seraph, just scrolling the wheel at all will target them. For multiple enemies, with sufficient practice, you can get the muscle memory to know exactly how far to scroll to get X number of enemies lower/higher in the list. (As an added bonus, since the opposing team in Crystalline Conflict is treated as an aggro list and I have been doing this long enough -- e.g. two years -- to have that muscle memory, I can target an opponent almost instantly.)
