That simply does not matter.

For example, and feed one at a time:

Feed1: Xelphatol Apple (+R -G -B)
Result: (+1R -1G -1B)

Feed2: Mamook Pear (-R +G -B)
Result: (+0R -0G -2B) This negates the increase in RED and GREEN from the previous Fruit.

Feed3: O'Ghomoro Berry (-R -G +B)
Result: (-1R -1G -1B)

By the third feed, you would have an overall decrease in ALL colors.

Yes but what I'm saying is that for exemple, when I fed my valfruit 11 times successfully, if I follow your logic the result would have been

R+11 G-11 B+11

Which means that instead of getting light pink I would have gotten purple since the value of red and blue went sky rocket high, which did not happen, see what I mean?
The first feed itself is opposing what you say

You're on the right path, and now need to continue reducing BLUEs. You want the RED to change as little as possible in the process. Try this for your next feed:

Whileyour REDs and GREENs should stay relatively even, it will again drastically reduce your BLUEs (which is the goal as you move toward Soot Black).

that ended up giving me grape purple which is about 20 away in reds and blues and very close to the green value for soot black. what do you think i should feed it next?

I fed pears until one feather growth message for both of these.

From Raptor Blue, + Pear(s) = Peacock Blue
From Peacock Blue + Pear(s) = Turquoise Green

No, I didn't intend for it to go to grape purple, so just skip it.

You need to keep in mind that the Chocobo's starting color is Desert Yellow. Desert Yellow is initially very high in REDs high in GREENs and low in BLUEs. You added REDs (making the value even higher) and BLUEs (raising it up) while slightly reducing the already high GREENs by a little amount.

The result: Pink.

Just because on a normal color wheel Red and Blue make purple, you also need to consider what color you are adding it to initially.

The Color wheel and a computer's RGB color pallet don't work in exactly the same fashion.

Yes that much I know but that light of a pink should be impossible to obtain if my red value (that was already high) got increased that much, even if the blue is still low, if I followed your logic I should have gotten at best something like coral pink, a very dark shade of pink.

Uh, you're not considering the Base color in your situation...

Desert yellow (216 175 80) has HIGH values of red, and really LOW values of blue, in no way it would end in a strong purple.

I preface almost every post where I assist someone with a point that states that is isn't an exact science as the fruits don't give a flat "5" to increasing or decreasing color values.
I just use an integer for the ease of calculating. The values a fruit can change a color value appear to range from +/-3 to +/-6.

Some might get a light Pink, or a medium Pinkish-red, if the values of those two colors are very similiar, using the same fruit because of the slight RNG of the fruit.
