Translations (JP to English)

Flare, etc., still have the wind-up time after the spell casting, right? They're probably talking about removing that. Right now (or at least last time I played CON), you spend 6 seconds casting the spell and then get a buff that lasts 30-40 seconds. After that wears off the damage is dealt (or more likely fail/miss/whatever). Sounds like they're removing that 30ish second delay.

What does the Japanese info say about Bowl of Embers? Someone mentioned the "greater rewards for members of the same grand company" info is mentioned for only the r30 fight in the Japanese notes. Just wanted to get your take on it so we could possibly clear some confusion.

Yoshida's post seems to imply that the extra rewards come either by going in with the same GC members or having all three GC's members in your group.

Not sure tho.

Perhaps both. There will probably be different extra rewards; same GC member parties will obtain extra loot probably aimed at their particular GC (e.g. specific gear that relates to particular GC, company seals etc.) Different GC member parties will obtain extra loot corresponding to the GC as a whole (potions, ethers, dark matter, more universal goods etc.) All hypothetical of course, but it could potentially work that way.

My guess is about flare etc they will become the like tier 3's for elemental magic, making them a bit more useful now but with extended delays, which brings back their speciality, which could deem nice with the new attribute changes, that is what im hoping for anyway.

As for the Fine Sand thing, very curious if Shard prices will rise a little due to uneasily obtainable fine sand. Think I may go stock up.

Regarding the GC bonus Eveyrone is worried about during the Ifrit Battle

3GC揃い踏みでボーナス！という想定もあります。
ですので、GC選びは本当にお好みで大丈夫です！
Also for future GC bonus we are also plan just like having everyone being the same GC but where 3 different GC's in party bonus. So for choosing the GC please choose by the one you like best and it will be fine!

ちなみに吉田はグリダニアにしようかと悩み中:p
I am thinking of choosing Gridania but not sure yet :p

Seems like it doesn't affect too much on the bonus (maybe stuff like more CS bonus or something small like that??)

Ifrit Battle,
Person in charge of the Ifrit and Battle QA just finished adjusting the difficulty.
This past few weeks we really thank the staff for taking their time off to make this happen and go through the testings and modifying. I think it turned out so it's really "god" like strength.... :p

ゼーメルを遥かに凌ぐ難易度の「真イフリート討滅戦」。
「マテリガ」フル装備でのお越しを、スタッフ一同、心より、お待ち致しております。:cool:
The Ifrit battle should be much more difficult than the Dzhamel.
All the staff from their heart will be looking forward to you all come in to challenge with full Materia IV gear :cool:

イベントで手に入れた耐熱装備では、地獄の火炎は防げないと思われますｗ
I don't think the fire resistant gear you got from the event will block off Ifrit's Fire
(That one move he uses in every FF series.. JP version call it Jigoku no Kaen, Flame from hell)
