Not being able to buy single items from a stack on the marketward.

You can actually gauge demand pretty easily, right from the sell menu. I can't remember exactly what they're called, but after you click the button to see what your current item is listing for you get another option to see the transaction history of it. Not sure how many it lists, but it's usually enough to judge how many people are buying, and what they're paying.

Agreed. Please allow us to buy single items through the market boards.

Current system feels like step backwards. Its not comfortable and just makes me to ignore market so much as possible (as in all those others games with same clunky and stupid restriction), because i hate when i cant buy exactly that amount what i want. In this case i better get it myself (harvest, trade with friends, LS, FC).
So i support option to buy single items wholeheartedly.

All I ask is when they get the time..... check into the matter and implement a system where we can buy what we need cause alot of money that should be going to other things is getting wasted and then gets resold for less. In turn this is dimming down on cash return. I don't know how many things I have discarded just because no one is buying the stack of it. Whereas if people chose how many then more of my stuff can be sold.

The system used in later stages of V1 was far more intuitive. You could sell large volumes at a discounted rate, but rather than using up 10 retainer slots to sell 10 items, you could use 1. I understand both systems and the pros/cons to each, but I feel the former system is better due to the advantage in flexibility it adds to the market for both buyers/sellers.

There is nothing in this new system you couldn't do in the older one.

People just won't buy your stuff then. When I need one horn glue or one spruce lumber I'm not going to buy a stack for flipping 60k. I'll go out and farm my own.

So yes 1 million likes to the OP. This needs to be fixed. The old system in 1.2x was superior. I mined fairly often and was quite happy selling my ores as is. I would put 99 Iron up for example, and people who wanted it would buy it until the stack ran out. Simple.

Not really related, but Legacy players wtf? Our money got divided but some of you are selling crap that is easy as hell to obtain at 1.0 prices.

This is a ridiculous thread... Nothing is broken, the Dev team did just fine.

If you want a SINGLE item, work with a friend, Linkshell, FC, Trade, etc...

But if you come to the market looking for a quick fix you WILL pay our prices. This is the essence of crafting and using the markets for profit... If participating in the market pains you SO much, take the time that us crafters did and level your own craft.

If the developers made it to where you could buy single items there would be no competition on the markets for us. Some crafters sell in bulk to move more, some sell small amounts for higher margins. Let me decide how to sell, and you can be a smart consumer and buy the way you like.

I agree with the OP. This needs to be fixed.

If people are trying to make money they will have a bulk of an item already and we're expected to just buy the whole thing. I'll take my Bag of chips, but not the whole shelf. >:O

I have all 3 gathering classes and 2 crafting classes at 50, part the issue though which you seem so out of touch with is the leveling of other crafts.

Also I don't always want to go out and gather for what I need, SOMETIMES I just want to be lazy and grab an item of the marketwards, as a gatherer myself I don't see why any of you so called "sellers" would want these restrictions.

The functionality of the MW's are just as restricting for sellers as they are buyers.
