Reopen the Moogle Pageantry Store now!!

NO NO NO!! The markets are shaping up and this would only disrupt the market! If you can't be bothered to read then treat this is as a learning lesson moving forward. The fact that so many of you lack attention to detail and try to make excuses for it is disturbing. This game could have the notice on screen AT ALL TIMES when you play this game; dead smack center to the point of obscuring your character and people would still complain about not seeing it. NO!!

I wouldn't have had any problem if they had provided a period of time after you stopped earning more but could still spend them, I have no problem with that in principle. With that said you can't claim this was because of shift work, I have sick relatives that I care for and have worked 12 hour shifts for over 15 years while still playing MMO's, none of this has anything to do with not reading event notes, nada.

If you managed to get along with this situation, good for you, you can be really proud, but you can't assume everyone is managing things exactly as "good" as you.

So please go back and read my complete post, before you cut a piece of it out of context.

I didn't want to start a discussion (again), which you may have had on the 12 pages before my post already.

With that in mind I don't think I will reply anymore now (based on the reasons stated in my original post), as it seems the climate in this forum is different to what's in general said about our FFXIV community.

Show some empathy and don't always be "against". Better try "with" or "on the same side" for once, real world's hostile enough I think.

Don't patronise me with your opening paragraph then moan because you didn't read the event notes, YOU dropped the ball, own it.

I didnt take you out of context either, I cut your post down to reply to part I wanted to without spamming the forum with your entire post. I kept this one in full though as I see you're easily triggered.

Like.. just because people disagree with you and aren't willing to just 'be with us', does not mean they are toxic or mean. It means we disagree with your points and will (or rather in my case, have) explain why. No, not everything is SE's fault, there's only so much they can do to get people who won't inform themselves in the know about something that doesn't work quite the same as before. And why? Why didn't the Moogle event end the same way as it always does? Maybe because it wasn't a normal Moogle event? Like.. it's not hard to think 'this isn't normal' when barely a month after a Moogle event ended we get another one.

Some people are too prideful to admit that they made a mistake which, in their eyes, means it could never, ever possibly be their fault. That's really what it boils down to. I also think they are confusing the truth with a complete lack of empathy, even though some has been shown alongside the facts.

you know what's toxic? being selfish, entitled and arrogant and talking down to others when they don't tell you what you want to hear, or, gasp, disagree with you in a forum!
"show some empathy" to the people that have nicely tried to explain it to you and others that there was plenty of time and enough reminders for people to notice at one point

Honestly, despite what my first post in this thread would suggest, I'm not against the idea of them either bringing it back for those who missed out or something. But the fact remains: They were very, very clear. If you knew about the event, it's up to you to go to the page and check out the details of it - like you do when you want to check out what the event is going to bring to the table. If you had the time to figure out what items you wanted to get, what you thought looked nice, etc etc - then you had time to read the BRIGHT RED BOX that said "Hey, spend your moogle tomestones asap, they're not coming back."

What else could they have done? Flashed it big, bright, and red on your game screen every ten minutes?

Exactly! I'm not against the idea of them opening the vendor back up, at least temporarily. There would have been nothing wrong at all with a grace period. But like you, me and a lot of other people have said...they weren't vague on the details. None of that seems to matter though to some. We are just toxic and unhelpful, apparently. I will admit to being in a bit of a bad mood at the start though. lol
