22.7gb update after relogging?

I did some poking around. If you own ONLY ARR, or are on the free trial, it's a 15gig d/l. If you own ARR collectors Edition & HW (as I do) but have not purchased SB, it's a 19gig d/l. For those of you with SB, you get the grand prize of the 22+gig d/l. So it's not HW or SB causing the problem.

Idk what I expected but after two days of waiting i finally got an E-mail response for this issue that had absolutely nothing to do with the actual issue. Sigh....

Having the same issue. Power outage, forced to reinstall. Hope we can get some word on this soon.

Having the same issue on my PS4. Had a power outage this morning, left the house for the day, logged in this evening and this 22.7gb patch began downloading. Really frustrating! :( Hopefully we can get acknowledgment of this issue soon. I've never had anything like this happen before, and it's really disappointing to have it occur during early access.

Happen to me 30 mins ago on PS4. Power got cut for a few seconds while i was playing. Now its downloading 22.7gb like all of you.

Its not the first time i got power shortage while i play FF14, but its the first time i got a problems from it.

This make me so mad... I love this game, and can play it anymore... I came back in here every 15 minutes to see if anyone from the staff say something, but nothing...

Many tears. This happened to me. Sufferer of Dsl and will take a full 24 hours to download...god forbid my power goes out mid download and I gotta do it again from scratch.

Avoid logged out and turn the console off at all cost !

to be honest ffxiv have a great development team, most of the time they listen what we need. now the question will be are the moderators of this forum are giving the info to the devs? if this was affecting the majority of the player base we would have an answer within minutes at the moment we are the minority. so giving the benefit of the doubt we just need to wait until the actual launch, if this continues we can rage in social media because that's the only way for the devs to know
