which is exactly what i stated and you quoted. "it may seem like more if you do one class, but it is not." yes, you can do 12 leves for one class where you could only do 8 before, but you can only do 12 total as opposed to 16 before.

i did my 8 locals, 4 battle, and 4 gathering each reset. am i getting less or more? do i still get my 16 leves to do? no because you are getting less.

you are not adding diversity by saying by concentrating on one class you get more. diversify is adding more options. if you had 16 leves and you had to split them between at least disciples doh and either a dow/doh then you had more diversity beforehand. 2 is more diverse than one.

As long as one does not have to sacrifice, it is perfectly acceptable.

That's what I was getting at. At the moment I run to a city, pick up 3 battle leves and 3/4 crafting leves, do all of those, then run to the next city and repeat, for all 3 cities, untill I can't do anymore. This way both my battle AND crafting classes rank up. With the new system, it'd seem more beneficial to operate on a "Today I'll use all my leve's on battle, tomorrow I'll use it all on crafting" which although is a bit more focused, still means I'll be getting less SP per-rota than I am at the moment, since I'll be doing the same amount of battle leves (8), but 4 less crafting leves (From 12 to 8).

Though I guess they are revamping crafting and we're apparently going to be gaining more SP per item than we do now so grinding may make up for it, but then that means having to go out and get the materials which is such a bore :p

Well I've got nothing else to state so I'm done with this thread. I'll not just sit here and argue the same point over and over, I just don't have the patience for that today. I'm fine with the changes, it's not perfect but in my mind it's better than it is currently.

I'll just do what I normally do with patches that make major changes: Learn to live with those changes, and continue to enjoy the game.

Anyways, 1.19 is adding loads of other stuff too so I'm sure I can find something else to waste time with to replace the time I'd have used on those other 4 crafting leves :D

As for the Leve changes; sounds rather cool but like most changes in game so far, it could be good could be bad. Have to wait and see. :)

I'm cautiously optimistic for this new system. It sounds like a good improvement.

The only thing that makes this better is the fact that if u dont do your leve's throughout the week and just collect 4 every reset you can just do them all at once as opposed to waiting. But if your like me and you like to do them everyday then its really not that great of an idea. I just really cant see someone collecting 99 leves lol.

I want 6 leves every 12 hours minimum. Prefer doing a variety of leves for sp than killing the same mob over and over or crafting that same item over and over. Leves are like mini objectvies to be completed and keep me interested. 4 Every 12 hours is not enough and to be frank 6 every 12 is not enough for me. I want more.

To me this change is a nerf to the hardcore players, I see it as 12 every 36 instead of 16 every 36.

Lol but what the hell, yoshi must be adding some other way to level up in 1.19 thats fun other than leves. im sure he wouldnt gives us lesss leves for no reason without adding something else to the game to make leveling up fun.
