Give up. He doesn't get it, and probably never will. There are just some heads that are just too thick in the world.

If you think it's such a big deal you should switch to main WHM and take advantage of such a huge boost to the job.

It is QoL.

It saves you a few cast before a fight start, once a fight started, all back to normal. It doesn't make their raid heal stronger, it doesn't make the boss hit for less, it doesn't increase anyone's survivability, it doesn't do anything that you cannot already do in battle.

With SMN equivalent, so if we give you a Levy re-skin, ALL stats and abilities will be exactly identical to Garuda, just the names of the abilities are different, will you be OK with that and accept it as a new egi?

This is the equivalent to allowing you to instant-summon your pet if you are out of combat without using swift cast.

This will save 10-20 seconds of the entire party waiting for the white mage to apply stoneskin. It benefits all players equally and does not change the overall power level of the class. It IS quality of life. Why are people complaining about this? It saves everyone time.

This is a really good comparison! Because while it helps you out after you die, or your pet dies and you're between fights, it doesn't actually affect the battles or strategies at all.

That's Quality of Life.

If it was, say, a reduction in the MP cost of summoning pets, or a reduction in cast time, or being able to instantly switch summoned pets in combat, THAT would be about balance and NOT just QoL.

Do people see it now?

OMG game breaking!

I just sincerely hope SCH get Stoneskin II as well. It's already hell trying to get people to stay still at the start of a dungeon for casting buffs; if WHM only get this, they will start bitching over having to wait because they got a SCH in the party instead. ><

SCH already has AoE Stoneskin. It's called Succor. WHM did not have an AoE Stoneskin before 2.45.

Watch this have a 24-second cast time.
