There will be new main content to rank up?

At least when Tanaka was in charge, there was mention that PvP was going to be related to Colosseum events and other such instanced content.

You won't have to worry about some asshat rank whatever backstabbing you over and over.

this is my biggest fear and one of the reasons why I despise WoW...

That is not really a reason to hate WoW, Just don't pick a PvP server

well... more on topic, they are adding the ability to flag up now so... theres your clue for what might replace leve parties, they would have to tweak mob timers and localization. They managed to put a level 50-80+ mob in just about every zone in the game so there will be plenty of grinding spots if they tweak the mob population.

wonder if they will make party grind worth a damn? I like to do more then just repeat quests all the time, a good old grind group is a nice change of pace.

max sp is on a rank 59 mob no need for anything higher.

Kind of... MOBs have a level range usually going from 0-4 or 5-9....
So a rank 59 MOB has a chance of spawning as low as R55... So ideally you'd want to get to 50 on R60-R64 MOBs

You're SP is capped though on those rank 60-64.

So if you're for example rank 43, dont fight anything higher than 53 its a waste of time, if you're 47 dont fight anything higher than 57 its a waste of time.

thats true... Its just hard at say R48 to only fight MOBs R58 and R59 because they would only constitute 40% of the spawns at a particular R55-R59 camp so I'd rather go to a 60-64 camp where you can kill them all worry free

Then roll on a PvE or RP server. Granted, I'll forever contend that it is next to impossible to properly RP so long as in-game communications involve a keyboard, but it's there.
