Tanks That Hate Fluid Aura

There's a problem with using Fluid Aura. If you use it on a target you're tanking atm, you have to chase it down pretty much. If you use it on secondary or tertiary targets and the tank doesn't have full aggro on them (because he's trying to keep hate on 1st target as no one's hitting the 2nd or 3rd except that WHM with friggin' Fluid Aura out of nowhere)., you're gonna have to interrupt your rotation and make sure it keeps the hate.

On second note it messes up your aoe hate skill use. Flash misses when the mob is suddenly on the other side of the map. Even worse it is for war when you have all the mobs neatly in front of you for Overpower's cone, but a random WHM thinks it's cool to reposition the mobs with Fluid Aura.

I've had white mages using it and I won't complain when they do so as I'm able adapt. But it sure is annoying.

The problem isn't using the skill .. it's your pathetically bad judgement about when it's useful that's the issue, not to mention your arrogance in thinking you're right when many are clearly explaining why you're wrong.

i have had some tanks compliment my use of fluid aura and some have gotten rude with me over it, but if im going to fluid aura one then sleep it to halt some damage to the tank they should be thankful

If someone voted to kick you, I would have agreed to it without a second thought. It is a form of harassment if you choose not to play nice with your party by repeatedly doing something, on purpose, that clearly upsets everyone. It's the same as someone purposely wiping a group over and over again for their own amusement. Sure, SE gave them the ability to do that, but it doesn't mean they'll let people do it without getting the banhammer and/or vote kicked.

Yeah, see, the thing is that everyone that complains about it getting used in groups are because of people who DON'T know how to use it.

Tip: If you are pissing off the melee every time you use it to the point that they complain or kick you, you probably don't know how to use it.

Or maybe you could sleep the mobs where they are (close to the tank) and let him build aggro with Flash too. It doesn't matter if you sleep a mob 1 yalm or 15 yalms away from the tank, the mob will still be asleep and wont atack anyone.

Everyone is missing the point, he said he attacks "secondary/tertiary" targets. If you are going to do damage as a healer, THE ONLY mob you should be attacking is the primary. The reason for this is obvious if you have ever tanked. The tank is building threat on the primary target, you as a whm using fluid aura will not pull off the primary target. But if you attack another mob who has only been flashed once, then yeah you are gonna pull it. Which is dumb. If you want to do dps, then do it right. And attack the primary target.

Tanks still need to build hate on the other mobs, that Fluid Aura can make that mob not take hit by flash whatever, and then Healer throws in a cure and just might get aggro. Many times the mob I'm going to strike next with Butcher gets Fluid Aura'd or Garuda'd

I've never understood why using fluid aura is such a big deal to some people, I have played all classes and from a healers point of view if the tank has 3-4 mobs beating on him I'd use fluid Aura the Sleep on one of the secondary targets which for a short time reduces the damage the tank takes making it easier to heal.

Saying why not just sleep the target next to the tank whilst running a low level dungeon is just folly because you know the DD's will just wake it again.

From a tank perspective I don't care if the WHM wants to use it as long as he keeps everyone alive he can do what he likes. A good enough tank should be able to get hate back easy enough.
