Lol no wonder they sound so jovial as people are willing to do free playtesting of half-assed ideas for free and for months.

As for the changes I don't think we should be overly optimistic/pessimistic before we see any of it in the game. Let's comment on it when there's something to comment about. So far these letters have been followed through by a whole lot of nothing so the proof will be in the pudding WHEN WE SEE IT!

I hope this means that it's still gonna be released mid-June... I can't wait any longer >.>

This, literally, means before (or as summer begins) summer. This also means they are just plans. It doesn't ever say that everything in this list will be here before summer.

What this says, is that for now, these are their priorities and will likely add more to the list after summer begins. Remember that this "list" is just: Planned, Current Tasks, and Future Tasks of what they have in mind.

They probably want to see how the new combat/job systems play out too.

hey lookie! Someone is trying very very hard to spin good news towards utter negativity!

How utterly unsurprising. I'm very curious to see at what straws they'll grasp next time :rolleyes:

Wow congrats on zero ability to read that text then! =D

Anyway isn't it more than a bit ironic that when he tries to communicate something clearly with caps and bold font, people are just as confused as always?

I'd rather not guess anything based on that and just wait to see what happens and what doesn't happen in summer.

To be fair, it could, once again, be a problem with the translation as the Japanese language is full of subtlety and nuance. You can't blame the whole thing on Yoshi-P being that his native language isn't English and what may be vague in the NA letter, may not be vague in the JP letter.

I really hope people don't get their hopes up on the "until summer" bit, it looks like a mistranslation to me.

That list is old. There's still unresolved elements on the list. The "current" section will be in the game before anything else. The entire list will probably not be implemented until the end or after summer.

It's not a mistranslation. He specifically says they are just the plans that are in development. The fact the list has been around being updated for awhile proves this isn't all coming at once.
