What is your gear set? Even without DL I make sure I have at least 430 without Stuffed Cabbage.

Holy fuck seriously? lol. I'm watching the livestream now to see some of your DRGness but let me look:

Basically full AF except for top, which is explorers tabard for the +7acc, Ifrits Harpoon, explorer earrings/veterans belt, 2 electrum rings, and an electrum gorget. I'm sitting at +42 acc from gear alone. I guess ill have to look at some different pieces.

we don't do Phase 2. do you mean Phase 3?

Consensus on LNC vs 2nd BRD for the night:

- No consistent minuet drops BLM damage down by like 2~3k - not efficient at this point in time.
- Need almost a perfect rotation to hit viable DPS with DRG on Clones.

We'll come back to it at some point in time but for now we'll likely continue to be efficient and have our double songs.

Hahah yeah before I had DL bracers I had pair of double-ACC bracers. Vet. Field Belt is better than Explorer's (if you're Ul'dah GC then buy Flame Sgt.'s Sash). If you can get your Electrum Rings HQ'd, and try to get the Explorer's Choker too. That should add ~40 ACC to your current set up alone. And if after that you don't hit 430, and if you have Mogfork, you should definitely use that. As far as I'm concerned, ACC is DRG's main stat.

yeah i saw that.... without the brd songs you would have to up more macc probably to be as effecient

Thanks for suggestions! I was just looking at the explorer's choker. I've been finding that acc really is the main stat, cuz when impulse drive misses it really fucks my dps ahaha. Its not something I want to happen, waste of precious tp. Looks like ill try to meld some shizz. There goes that gil! wooo

Np! As soon as 1.21 went live and we started on Princess in CC, I missed like... 7 Impulse Drives rofl. Since then I've been stacking ACC as much as possible. Oh, also, if you have any cash left over you should be eating Stuffed Cabbage, too!

Oh yeah I def took note of that lol! Stuffed Cabbage it is! Luckily we have some good cooks in the ls so i'll be straight. Its the acc thatll be the bitch. I need 32 more now, and the only way I see is lucky double meld. My luck with doublemelds has *not* been pretty lol. Well, until I get a proper lance...garuda lance will save me trouble and free up space but itll be a while before i get that. I'd use mogfork but its fugly as sin. Doublemeld it is!

Mistral Shriek can be outranged by being on the opposite side of the arena.

So the 3 random phases are: Garuda with plumes with a rotating bar, Garuda with sister and a rotating bar, and Garuda with sisters in the eye of the storm? If im not mistaken based on my shells runs so far.

what is a rotating bar?

the 3 sub phases in Phase 3 are:

Wind around you bends - Chirada and Suprana w/ x1 Vortex in middle and x3 Vortex in Triangle pattern on the perimeter
Summons wind from the West - Chirada and Suprana /w Circular Vortex on the perimeter
Summons wind from the South - Plumes with Clockwise moving Vortexes around the perimeter

The rotating bar is the CW moving vortexes. I'm sorry, also where do those names come from?

Much respect to BG pulling off that fight as fast as they did, learning so many different mechanics with that amount of haste. We had a couple 5% wipes, and a 1% wipe of our own before finally getting our lucky kill.

Oh and no drops, just Headdress x2.

Those 1% wipes are so heartbreaking, we had a 2% wipe the first night, then didn't end up killing it for 2 more hours, but who cares about us.

How are you guys tanking the 3 Garudas S/C/G does the tank just sit there or does the 2nd war try to tank the Melee/Mage? Also how are you handling stuns?

After she does Aerial Blast she starts doing this Slipstream or something where she teleports to the edge of the circle and does a move. I have stayed behind her, on the opposite side of her and it draws you to the middle and does a double move... How do you avoid this?

MT vokes Suprana and OT vokes Chirada while getting into position, trying to make sure all three are not facing at the group, fire Collusions on BLMs then every other enmity CD, Sentinel, etc., Enduring March. Our WHM keeps them alive with Regen and Cure/Cura/Curaga.

Slipstream is just one of her normal abilities; it's the frontal cone AoE knockback.

Great Whirlwinds will also knock you back and deal ~1600 dmg.

When she teleports, she will be using Mistral Shriek or Song afterward. Shriek is full AoE that can be outranged, Song is frontal cone.

DRG is fun, I got to try it with while other people were learning how to play BRD a few attempts.

But yeah it requires insane accuracy. One attempt I had my accuracy pumped to 475-490 (440 gear acc + BRD Song) and still only had 92% hit rate total on the fight and I had thought eatting ACC food would be overkill at that point... guess I was wrong! I should go get Moogle Fork, eat cabbages... 540 acc! I bet DRG would still miss though lol

Yeah sometimes you're just going to get super unlucky no matter what. But I think that ~480-90 ACC w/food is a good amount to have for any boss battle.

Yeah I had no idea lol...I mean I never remember missing much on Ifrit. Nor do I remember missing a lot on coincounter. But Garuda made me feel like a noob. Lol thats when I really saw how badly I apparently need accuracy. It was terrible, but a lesson well learned!

Sooo I'm farm up seals for that +25 acc low delay limsa lance. Then thatll put me at 430+ with no food. I'm going to experiment with the low delay weapons, since the Garuda lance looks so cool ill be refusing to use ifrits harpoon ever again. Figure ill try something different lol!

Anyway thanks guys for the livestream, was really helpful. And ty for going DRG, I learned some shit lol. Now until I get my gear straight ima go finish getting arc to 50 and put Garuda down for a bit. Least til my ls mates are ready to run it a couple times.

wtf is downburst... she jumped and when she landed, she wiped the entire party with downburst

Blizzard of Gungnir has Clipped Garuda's Wings!!! After a 5% wipe a 1% wipe and another 5% wipe.

There is a lot of fine tuning and closely analyzing where you have to be to get adds down/avoid whirlwinds/ etc...

BG you guys have nothing but my respect for getting this done close to two days ago.
