unlocking the gc sets so they can be used across all jobs would also be great. we havent had a gc uniform update since late heavensward, at least let us use all of them.
same with most of the early game sets to be honest. would love the brand new thighboots on my tank.

I'd like to see a full set of tights, similar to the Valentione Rose Tights or the Bunny Tights, but more straight fabric like the 2B stockings or the Loyal Housemaid Bloomers.

Also I would kill for some shoes that are straight Mary Janes with no socks or stockings. Like the Bridesmaid Sandals are, but with more of the Loyal Housemaid Pumps look.

If any of this stuff actually exists already, I'd be appreciative if someone would point it out. Thanks in advance.

Wands on WHM and BLM please!!! I so wish I could get a sleek wand glam since they are held in the exact same way as the two-handed varieties. I wonder if its an issue with where the weapon is stored when sheathed.

The FFXI Blue Mage sets would make an awesome Thavnarian inspired glamour item for jobs like Red Mage or Blue Mage.

The FFXI AF and Relic sets are still amazing to this day. The White Mage and Red Mage ones in particular I would love to see in some form.

In particular I love how the WHM and RDM sets do not look overly feminine. The FFXIV AF sets are amazing but you can see that the designers prefer a very frilly, feminine aesthetic and I would love to have gear more akin to FFXI for my Lalafell in XIV.

I'd like to direct your attention to the Ribbon on Ariel here and request something simialr to that (the FE Schoolgirl one is a bit too high).

I don't know if this is a good place to post this but it does relate to Glamour.

I would like for the Gear set Glamour link option to work near ANY Aetheryte Crystal. Traveling as a gatherer and changing between all 3 This would be Great! :)

I get the feeling that is that was even possible, then it would've been possible to do it zone wide. But I'm not a programmer, so...

Aside the obvious (and do the mods even check this thread anymore?) - the FF7 Buster Sword as a DRK glam item. We have Cloud's outfit as a veteran reward and the Fenrir as a cash shop mount, so why not the most iconic part of his outfit?

I started posting on the Forums precisely to request more Glamour options, but I didn't come across this thread until now. I (and quite a number of folks, it turns out) think we should just be able to use anything and everything for Glamour purposes regardless of Job (after all, it's explained to be an illusion in-game?), especially since a Job's weapon and stance are a much clearer giveaway looking at their equipment. There's also instances where the designated equipment doesn't actually match the Job all that well (Dancer; Aiming gear where Scouting would fit the aesthetic quite a bit better), so... Yeah, just remove Glamour restrictions!

As you can probably tell from my avatar, I like my character to wear an eyepatch. Eyepatches for Disciples of War (leather eyepatch, hard leather eyepatch) and the level 50 healer eyepatch (Pilgrim's Eyepatch) all cover the left eye. But there is no eyepatch for caster dps that covers the left eye, only the right. Can we please have a caster dps eyepatch for the left eye? Or, even better, a /visor option for eyepatches that mirrors it, thus switching the eye it covers?

We need more plaid/tartan. Especially skirts, kilts, and jackets. Really the one big all class thing for plaid right now is just the wind silk bottoms. This is breaking my Canadian heart.

Also I know it's been said often but I'd love if socks were their own aesthetic gear slot. So many nice shorts and skirts just begging for the right pair of socks to go with.

I would love to see a scimitar sword for Red Mage. The Blurred Sword from Final Fantasy XI is a nice example of a Red Mage scimitar.

The High Allagan blade that Paladins can use is an awesome example of what a long, stylized scimitar would look like. It would be awesome to have it for Red Mages.

For gear already in FFXIV, I'd like to see the Alliance sets from Ghimlyt Dark appear as a glamour pieces

For other FF game outfits, I really liked the new design of the SOLDIER 3rd Class uniforms in the FF7 Remake, looks military, not too high tech, and doesn't suffer the issue of just being a copy of a main protagonist's outfit

As for completely new, since they are on a casual clothes kick recently I wouldn't mind getting a nice fantasy track suit for our characters, perhaps having the Dalamud falling emblem on the back

Now there are gear pieces similar to this, but only for aiming and casters and they're all body pieces. The image is my character in all striking gear, where no such thing exists.

Here's the difference, this is a suggestion for a standalone piece that goes in the head slot. This is basically a glamour piece starting at level one, for all jobs and races, including Viera and Hrothgar. Could be a reward from treasure hunts for materials, casual content drop (that new farm thing?), or a side quest, or the end of expansion clear from Tataru, that I'll leave up to the dev team. Also the long part I should have made longer, like the cloaks for the Hunter class from Destiny, in fact longer the better.

Ignore that I have my guy with side goggles, since unfortunately we can't have eye wear and hats on together due to the way gear is set up.

Eos and Selene glamours would be pretty cool. Maybe from a vendor unlocked by the SCH job quests.

Still waiting for this red mage weapon to be implemented. It was in the official AF gear art. Simple crystal medium and a traditional looking rapier. Law's Order rapier is close but not quite there, hoping for this to be the final step.

I know it's not the winning gear and will most likely never be released but I think it could make a great BLM AF gear (and not a RDM one as the judge's comment may suggest) since it has fire and ice on it.

Seeing as how they've been implementing the hair contest's runner ups and they do say in all of their contests that even if a design doesn't win or make runner up, if the dev/creative team like a design enough, they might add it, so there's always a chance we'll see some of the runner up gear designs as well.
Also, I want more design contests too. >w>

That would be a good choice and match with the Zervan crafted weapons. Though personally this game needs less robes on casters and healers....

DITCH THE GENDER-LOCKS & GENDER-STYLES.

Look, if someone wants their toon to dress sexy, GREAT. More power to you! But please, devs, let us make that choice for ourselves! I shouldn't be forced into glamouring over gear because the game thinks female toons' clothing must expose breasts & butt. I shouldn't have to look longingly at a male toon wearing an awesome raid drop, then find out that the gear changes completely when my female toon wins it & tries it on. Women have been wearing supposedly "male"-styles now for well over 70 years; all of our cultures also have long traditions of men wearing supposedly "women's" styles, too. Could FFXIV please catch up to the times & stop shoving female toons into skirts, garter belts, & high-heels?? Glamming over it is a shaky workaround, especially since new players can't glam until late in the ARR MSQ. When I changed my first toon from male to female, too much of the cool gear I'd earned & bought became unusable (goodbye, Bohemian/Snow's Gear *sob*). There's no reason why any gear bought on the Online Store should be restricted via gender. The Far Eastern Officers Attire, Mun'gaek attire, Abe's Attire, Nezha Lords, Butlers, Hien's, Thancred's, etc etc etc? Why are any of those sets considered "male"-only? Why are any of the "female" sets considered "female-only"?

And no, the "breast" thing is not an excuse. Not when you have a game that goes from tiny little Lalafels to tall/skinny Elezen to massive walls of Roe'gadyns & every body-type in-between.

This whole issue is about choice. I don't care if someone personally wants to wear miniskirts/garterbelts or run around in thongs or whatever. Great! Go for it! All I'm asking is that all of us be given a choice. Give us a toggle that allows us to choose between sexy/practical or pants/skirt or male/female clothing models, PLEASE. Open up all clothing to both genders. There's no reason not to.

swap models for healer and caster sharlayan gear model

Suggestion: a series of Lv.1 role-based gear with the models of the various job AFs.

Example: Lv.70 Red Mage job gear + some kind of crafted material = Lv.1 dyable Red Mage Lv70 gear for all DoMs.

Reason: AF gear is seen so rare nowadays, and I believe the primary reason is because nobody actually wears job-restricted gear anymore, due to the fact that gear with any relevance are all role-restricted and unique. And because they are unique, glamouring job AF over them would mean any other job of the same role wearing the same pieces can often look completely ridiculous.

Alternative solution: overhaul the glamour system so that the contents of glamour plates are not written onto the actual gear pieces, but rather that we "equip" the glamour plates. Glamours are still displayed subject to job restrictions, but now two jobs wearing the same pieces can have different looks by equipping different plates as part of the gearset.

It would be nice if we could get level 1, no-role-locked glamour-versions of the Nier raid and Ivalice raid gear. >w>
Maybe you can trade in the token you get for clearing the raid to get a piece of glamour gear from that tier.

Things like the lvl 80 BRD set come to mind.

It's so upsetting that the beautiful embroidered pants don't exist for female models. Meanwhile, male models miss out on an awesome pair of boots. They spend time designing and modeling two completely different sets, and players don't get to enjoy it. Male BLU could have had shorts to match the look/feel of the female set but instead we got [Pair of Slacks #74]. It's so uninspired and stale.

I can't overstate how much I wish they'd stop doing this.

I don't know if it has been posted on the previous pages but I would absolutely love it if they added Godbert's Glasses, or the "Dated Weathered Spectacles" series back to the game:

Hello! This is likely my first time posting on the forum. Good to meetcha!

1. Calfskin Rider Hat: Manually adjust visor would be great if you could do exactly that. I'm sure MANY of us would get a lot more mileage out of this item if we could wear it backwards as well.

2. An opposing team gearset: If we're going to have the calfskin rider stuff, it would be really fun to have another team so people could have a friendly preference. Maybe any of the big FFXIV cities? Maybe a blitzball callback? The Aurochs? The Goers? The Abes? People love trying to fit their personality profiles into certain teams.

3. A less bulky cap: The Calfskin Rider Hat is kind of large and unflattering.

4. More tattoos/tattoo patterns: The tattoo items are clearly popular and I know many players who would be really ecstatic about more options to suit their different styles. This would go especially well if they're not gender or class locked.

Have you tried the Diamond Sword and Onion Shield?

There is also the Sword of Light and Shield of Light, but that requires Seat of Sacrifice EX which I think you don't yet have access to.

I would like to request more versions of the Casual Jacket with different tops (tank tops, crop tops, etc.) and the jacket being draped at different lengths (like hanging from our elbows like Gaia).

I would also like more modern/contemporary fashion and street wear. Think FFs VII, VIII, XIII, and XV. If you need lore, maybe there's a shard that's more inspired by those games and is a more modern/urban setting.

Need some dyable variations of the basic briefs/tanga/halter. A plain monocromatic one, a tiger stripped one, a one color strip one, polkadot one.... lots and lots...

Taking this a bit further, how about all lower level gear (maybe not including AFs) having unrestricted replicas? There's certainly a lot of of crafting/gathering gear I want on my DoW/DoM.
We've long since had the Legacy Warrior and Rathalos set along with all the seasonal stuff if SE's worried about us looking inappropriately geared for our roles.

I had a bit of a pout today. I actually love the look of the Brand-new Robe, halfgloves, waistrap and thighboots (also the acolyte dungeon set) that you get from doing the Novice all, but neither set is dyeable. Sooo, I went to look to see if it shared a model with a dyeable set and it does.. the cashmere set but it's a HEALING set, not Caster. I sat and poutted for a good bit, I love this set, but I wanted it in red for my caster look! Could we get this as a dyeable set for casters too pretty please?

Could we have the Dwarven gear as level 1 glamour, please?

I haven't really posted anything here before, and i don't know if this has been asked before, so excuse me if it has.

Are there any chances it would be possible to implement a seperate veil headpiece for glamour purposes?
Currently the only veils ingame are tied to other head pieces (examples: Thavnairian Turban, Softstepper's Turban, see below),

But it would be great if it was possible to heave a mouth/face covering veil without an associated headpiece on the rest of the head.

All I ask for all I need!! for now is a Vincent glam and an Auron glam. Also if possible give me Auron's gourd as a fashion accessory

PLEASE LET US HAVE A GAS MASK WITHOUT THIS UGLY HOOD.

My current glamour wishes are just variations on/adjustments to things we already have (which I don't honestly expect them to make but still want): a Blackbosom scythe glamour for Reaper, a Blazefire Saber variant for Gunbreaker, and adjustments to the Mog Staff and Binding Rod to make them usable as glamours for two-handed CNJ/WHM and THM/BLM weapons (these two are literally worthless now without that change). Also wouldn't mind additional FF13 weapons for jobs released since the event ran, but I'm even less hopeful about that than anything else in this post.

(Hopefully nobody has said this yet) I would love it if we somehow got Innocence’s gorgeous armor. The cash shop lets you cosplay as a Ward knight -I wonder what other villainous glamours might be in the works.
