47 ifrit kills, 7 garuda kills... NO SPEAR DROPPED AT ALL

I got Ifrit bow 3rd attempt. However, I've never even gotten to lay eyes on the Garuda bow...lol

Got Ifrits cudgel on my 2nd run :P

On average, it should take players about 20 runs to get their primal weapon. However, there are unfair exceptions like the OP.

Totally right, we want some players to spend 1 hour to get their gear and other players to spend 100 hours to get that same gear...

No joke, buddy did 60 runs of Ifrit for weapon. I got mine on my 3rd attempt. Others spent dozens of times in there.

The worst thing though. The VAST majority of the time, it drops something no one is in there for. Jesus I'm never going to level a lancer but could have 15 of them by now.

Seriously. There is one solution that doesn't resolve in everyone getting something but making it better. Disallow drops of jobs that are not present.

i also have never seen the spear drop in ifrit or garuda after multiple runs

My droplist shows that the drops are almost equal distributed for me, all around 3-4 drops atm for each weapon since i log the drops, but rng is a bitch and you never know what you get. 27 Kills since i started counting, 4 swords and everytime another PLD in group who had won the roll.

Yesterday i had an fresh paladin in my DF group without any exp and with AF/Greens with 2 or 3 Pieces DL which never had done garuda hm before, we killed her first try and guess who won the sword which dropped ?

And this is why people rush relics while being under geared, they dislike the RNG screwing them constantly heh. Up to 50 runs, and I am taking a break from attempting to expand my collect of axes. The game is just... silly sometimes.

Oh, you mean the 1.x drop system where you got nothing but dark matter time and time again? Where I ran Ifrit about 300 times and got 2 tokens, 1 Paladin Sword and more dark matter than I knew what to do with? Sure, let's go back to that instead of guaranteeing a weapon each time. I'd rather run where I see progress happening on drops even if they aren't for me than to have to get slapped to the face with absolutely worthless nothing. No thank you.

I have pld brd blm50
passed(because i have moogle from V1) ifrit bow on 1st run
got blm on 2nd run (same day)
got sword last week while helping new50s.
I love ifrit rng more than v1 where i only got 5 totem on way more run than i did in V2

Why are there players that enjoy the skinner box mindgame of the rng? You honestly prefer to spend 100 hours trying to get 1 item? The op is right to voice his frustration because we all have lives and time is money. Any improvement to the drops would be welcome
