It's a little disheartening to see that there has been no positive response on this matter as of yet.. I guess Square Enix doesn't mind treating their customers so poorly.

Well their support is pretty swamped with people complaining, they can't satisfy everyone right now.
8 hours later and still no response? well, time to call SE then...
edit hurray the phone line is busy! cant even get into the phone line to get put on hold for an hour...
Back from work, and the automated system has confirmed that they have received my ticket 24 hours later and they will be answered within 48 hours...
I'm half tempted to just pay the £15 for the digital upgrade and forget about my useless £35 lost in cyberspace... The main reason I bought the CE was because I liked the improvements made to the game and of course, the pre-order and early access.
It now seems I've paid £35 for two days of unplayable gametime and a couple of items sadly... I just await my email reply in the meantime, it no rush but it's still a pain :(
I got a reply from the EU support for the ticket I made about this issue. Basically its telling me I'm stuck with codes which are useless and I paid for, and if I want my items I'm going to have to pay extra.
I'm a patient person, and I can deal with all the server down time and all. But when There is clearly a problem at the SE end of things here and we, the people who have given them a second chance and are willing to spend more money on a CE, get screwed by their system really pisses me off. Very poor service SE, very poor. :mad:Quote:
We are sorry to hear of your issues registering your Collector?s Edition code for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to register a Collector?s Edition PC code if you already have any PC version of the original game already registered.
If you registered the Collector?s Edition code, it would create a new service account, but it would not be possible to transfer any of your characters to this.
The only option to upgrade your existing account would be to use the Digital Upgrade service available on the Mog Station.
We apologise for the inconvenience and hope that you will enjoy playing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn!
whatever you do, dont buy the upgrade even if you get tired of messing around with their support. giving in and buying the upgrade only gives them a reason to keep doing this.
well i finally got through, but im sitting on hold here's to hoping!
