I second this.
There's a nice flow to it. :)
EDIT: No pun intended (the gash part). lol
Hi!
I would certainly like to have my name follow the lore convention, but I don't know how to make it fit while sounding good.
With my first name:With my last name:
- Twilili Twili
- Tilili Tili
- Wilili Wili
Others:
- Sylfeyfey Sylfey
- Sifefe Sife
- Ilfeyfey Ilfey
- Suzaza Suza
- Yashasha Yasha
- Fuwawa Fuwa
- Kuroro Kuro
- ...
Or, I could simply pick a nice one and keep it personal while keeping Twilie Sylfey as a "surname".
Why do I get the feeling that nuhn will outnumber tia twenty to one, despite Lore...
I'm almost good, I could do Alaulette Aurelai, but I kinda like Alaula.
Hm, no. I might change a lot of things, if we'll be able to change what I want to, but I'm gonna leave my name intact. Been told it's unique and awesome enough by everyone I've played with, and they've all grown to know me by my character's name, so... no, no name change for me, thank you very much. (Also, some things just have to remain actual legacies from v1, I think.)
I put a lot of restrictions when doing character names. It'll be nice for me to fix the mistake I had overlooked with Rhomagus.
Here are my rules.
1.) Fits the lore naming mechanics
2.) No repeating letters in each name
3.) Must be eight characters long
I think I can still get away with Rhomagus for my Highlander but Asclepiot is going to have to be dropped (though I'll hold onto it for backstory purposes).
So with the new naming mechanics and hopefully a rewrite, I'll be able to rename my Highlander:
Rhomagus Warcloud
Still a bit iffy lore wise when it comes to the first name but I've noticed there seems to be a bit of room for error even among the NPC's in Final Fantasy XIV. The hard part will be coming up with a story that supports the reasoning behind the war name. I have some ideas though.
