Then would you be opposed to the solution I gave above? Zones like Mun-tuy are kept as-is, but for people that want to, they can go to the aetherial gate and start an instanced version of it. Same monsters, same bosses, you don't see them, they don't see you. You can stay in the non-instanced version and kill the NM there, which will have the same drops and drop rates as the one in the instanced version.
I wouldn't depending on how that PVP is implemented. Do some people who show up for that PVP walk away with nothing gained, not even a chance to fight someone? Then I'm against it. Does everyone get a chance to fight and the losers walk away with lesser rewards? Then I'm for it.Quote:

I never camped an nm for bragging rights, it was a friendly competition, in fact I normally talked to the people I'm camping with.
Also, ya instanced gear should not wield the same things as open world gear. Because, lets face it open world would be harder to get the gear than the instanced(because of spawn times and camping). If you don't wanna camp the nm don't get that gear, skip it and get a different gear from a instanced dungeon.
Now, I'm not saying that one gear should be better than the other. I'm saying that X hat peice should have 15str and the instanced hat piece should have 15acc or something of the sort. Because I an open world lover, doesn't wanna be short handed on gear, nor would the instanced lovers wanna be.
I'm just aking yoshi to keep and add open world dungeons along side instances, and have NMS with long spawn times, with good gear(possibly craft able gear with U/U gear.) So, if you don't wanna camp nms DON'T no one is making you.
We're in the minority because we're posting in a topic created by and for people who like open world content. See my earlier post about open world vs instanced content, FFXIV's own players want instanced over open 4 to 1.

And here it is. You're not only not content to have your open world content, you also want the gear to be exclusive. When you open world guys made it sound like you didn't really care about the gear, and you wanted the open world experience, you had a leg to stand on. Now that you've confirmed that you also care about the gear, you've confirmed what I've been saying for a while. You don't actually care about anyone's experience with this content, you care about having your dumb competition and being able to swing your epeen around and rub it in the faces of the people who couldn't get that gear -- even if you will never admit to it.Quote:
