The issue I see with this is if you disconnect and can't get back in you lose your item. That would really suck.
If I get my item early, I stay for the event I signed up for. It's just selfish to ditch.

Technically no matter how many you roll against it's always either you get it or you don't even if it was just two of you. There is no odds like Monty Hall where behind 2 doors there's a goat and one door a car he reveals one goat you get to choose again.
This is the best policy. The problem isn't the game, it's people being D-bags.Quote:

Yes, but I would rather roll against two or three other people than six or seven other people any day of the week, for obvious reasons.Quote:

So many problems with this. Someone won your loot? kick 'em.
If you then change the system to allow people gear upon being kicked, what's to stop them just AFK'ing till you kick them?
Or perhaps you'd rather not see who has won what gear until the end? In that case, how do you know what you if you can roll at all? Even still, if I'm the only healer, I can kick the other healer after we have all lotted on gear so I know I can get my healer drop. To combat this, you could have replacement players able to lot on any gear that has dropped so far in the dungeon, but this would mean that the in-progress fishing would get even worse.
Or those who honestly lose connection? Shouldn't they get their gear?
So many issues with this suggestion.
People leaving after getting loot means you have to get a replacement, but does it really affect the party that much? In most cases I have seen, not really as not all alliances wait for everyone because they are impatient and you can kill the bosses without a full alliance anyway (unless the replacement is a healer and then most of the time people do actually pause until they reach the group).
I have also done many runs in ST where the whole party has passed on every item up to the last boss, leaving potentially the whole PT to lot against for oil or UAT if it drops. I don't really see it as any different to that. You win some and lose some... (in my case usually losing XD )
If you run with the mindset that every other party member also wants oil or UAT you (hopefully) won't have to worry about party members dropping out and other people joining.
I don't leave instances myself, but I don't mind if others leave, I even had someone ask the party to kick them after they got their loot and (apparently) everyone was fine with it, the vote kick went through.
