According to tests earlier in the thread, skill speed doesn't affect turrets at all. It doesn't provide a damage increase either like spell speed does for summoner pets.

Not a whole lot since you are getting much more primary stats in return.
Right....I'm the person who said that lol. Also, Spell Speed doesn't increase SMN pet damage, only frequency of attacks, which in turn increases their damage.
That's why I was mentioning, that SPD may be an increase for Turret frequency of attacks, but similar to SMN pets you may need a lot of SPD + test for a long duration to see any gains of note. (which I didn't do in my initial testing as I figured that the gains would be apparent with only a couple hundred SPD)
Did two parses,
First 745 skill speed, 55 autos from turret at 3:03

Second at 406 skill speed, 54 autos at 3:00

If I had allowed the second parse to go for another 3 seconds it would have done the 55th swing. Skill speed does nothing for turret attack frequency.
That's exactly what I'm talking about for testing.
As an example I am testing SMN pets at 751 SPD over 28 minutes VS base SPD of 354.
Not exactly looking whether it's worth it or not, just whether it is effected.Quote:
Pretty much. Even if it wasn't the case If you needed 300+ SS to see one more turret auto in 3 minutes it would not even be worth it.
Thanks for checking though, and if you could do a comparison of high SPD over 20 mins or so VS base SPD. that would be awesome.
Thanks for this guide. However I'm quite disapointed with MCH. Its require a confuse and long rotation, one where buff is a requirement and also its RNG based. You go through all this and still gets a very meager damage. I'm still working out my job, but so far, I felt like MCH is the botton feeder of FFXIV, and I don't see no future playing this job.
