I skimmed the first 30 pages or so with Google Translate the other day, and it seems to be a mixed bag, like it is here. One thing I saw mentioned by multiple people is that they want a {Hall of the Intermediate} to be mandatory for jumpers, something I can't argue with in the slightest.

If you go into PotD at floor 51, you're given every single ability. I actually do it purposely so I can get all my abilities on my hotbar and filter them around to how I prefer. You are greatly overstating how difficult a progress is this, especially as any jump potion will favour veteran MMO players. Most will either have friends explaining what to do or have the wherewithal to look up a guide. Learning and adjusting to only one ability at a time works in games like Black Desert or Dragon Age: Inquisition because their respective combat is reactionary. XIV operates with a set rotation you will almost never deviate from. Hence why there are only guides for levels 50 and 60. With the sheer lack of challenge while leveling, you can more or less do whatever. Honestly, my advice to any aspirating Dragoon would be very basic; dot enemies, keep Heavy Thrust up and get to level 50. There just isn't a point to worrying over low levels.

I understand the NEED, as explained by Yoshi, for a new or returning player who wants to join directly at the current expansion entry. Which could be done by using both the "Story Skip" and "Job Jump" potions.
So it's compromise against the normal flow of the game I can go behind.

What I do not understand is why there should be "Job Jump" potions sold separately. Because then it's not a NEED anymore, it's just a "Pay-to-level" convenience and I can't agree with that.

My opinion is there should be only one bundle "Story Skip/Job Jump" potion (or both merged into one potion) per class.
it should be only useable once -regardless of the class- per character (and eventually per expansion).
Such as to not turn the Mog-Station into another way to level alternative classes while there is no need for it.

It's a mixed bag really... you either like it or you hate it. I for one don't particularly care as long as:

A) Said jumped player has the determination to get good and they are just a good person in general.
B) It's their choice/money/wallet/soul/mortgage

I take personal pride that I worked this hard for my classes/levels/achievements/accolades. If someone wants to pay for that shortcut, let them. If you want to go thru the game normally, do that too. I'll always do the old school way of progression.

This disgusts me. What's the point of an RPG with levels if you can just buy levels?

some one go in to a gam and dont want to play 90-99% of it, how good will he be really?

A good player will be a good player despite a potion or not. A bad player is going to be a bad player despite a potion or not.

The ratio of good to bad players is going to be the same rather if some buy the potion.

Also where the hell were these potions during FFXI's prime? I would pay 25 bucks no problem to get a job from 1 to 75. If only MMO developers came up with it 10+ years ago...

No, and this is yet another reason why the jump potion isn't really a solution. Were I a player who had just shelled out the price for not one game but three games (ARR, HW, and Stormblood), only to find that the first part was a horrendous slog and the endorsed solution by the devs was the sale of a skip potion that approaches the price of the game itself... well, that would not leave a good impression on me at all.
