hey guys, so with the new primal-ex accessories that offer accuracy (namely ifrit wrists) i came up with a new pre-t5 BiS that i'd like to ask y'all to evaluate.
w/an HQ stuffed cabbage Acc = 481, NQ = 477

i use the fuma chest because, on paper, the secondary stats on fuma seem to outweigh the melee chest - and that's from both sets of secondary stat weights i've seen (being Det= 0.22/Cr= 0.16/SS= 0.146 and Det= 0.223/Cr= 0.154/SS= 0.156, respectively), with only a -6 Vit loss (87hp).
any thoughts?
I usually PB > SnP x3 > TwS > Dragon Kick > Unleash hell. Using anything else that would delay your buff stacking/GL building seems like a waste to me during PB. Unless you already have 3 stacks, and are simply using PB to burst.
My True Strikes usually crit for 700+, although I haven't found use in spamming it during PB. Since PB > SnP x3 > TwS > Dragon Kick > BfB, IR > Boot > TrS > Demo > ToD usually puts you at 320+ DpS according to my parsers (not fed, solo). The TrS/Bootshine spam during PB only put me at 288 - 300.
Off topic here, I hope SE introduce another type Af for us. In ff11 we had temple melee and latest addition was the tantra. I'd like to see what the tantra set in here. Man that would b awesome.
albeit the loss of 4 str would at first glance make the melee the better piece, the math comes out to:
using str: 1.0, det: 0.223, Crit: 0.154, SkSp: 0.156
melee - 32.744
fuma - 32.917
using the "standard melee" stat weights of str: 1.0, det: 0.22, Crit: 0.16, Sks: 0.146
melee - 32.504
fuma - 32.98
plus, fuma isn't butt-ugly neon yellow :cool:
edit - also, i don't really consider skillspeed to be a useful stat for mnk, but that's personal preference
While it is a better piece, are you factoring in Accuracy? I know finding weights for Acc doesn't really exist atm but it does make a difference. If you can keep up an optimal build while staying Acc capped then yes I would say its better, however I really doubt in the end with a full 12 slot build + Food, it staying as good as it looks now alone.
