My thoughts exactly. This is supposed to be the biggest patch since the release of this blunder of a game 1.5 years ago. With all the job changes etc in this patch, there is still no news, no pics, videos, ANY kind of information even how the patch is coming along, the Friday before March 1? I mean go look at the Lodestone postings in February, I guess I should go work on my Love Letter to SE.

They ask us to wait a bit longer, and have patience .... to please wait. Well, that is all I have been doing since beta. And now at this point in time, a crucial/game changing patch that was supposed to be released middle of February and we were told they are pushing for end of February release, AND STILL NO MEANINGFUL INFORMATION posted on the Lodestone for the entire month of February, is appalling.

Patience, please wait a while longer, at this point, my patience is really wearing thin.

This is sad...very sad. We haven't ever seen anything like this and now we're subscribers.

It's been 10 days since the last patch news and 4 days before that one. Neither one was interesting...

I thought they said there'd be a player poll after 1.21, because that would show them much more useful information and feedback on the major updates that come with 1.21? I'll look for the quote...

Ok, yeah the lack of information is kinda terrible right now. The questions that the devs are answering (as far as 1.21 goes) are also pretty much pointless and feel like its more for buying time (can't change jobs during combat...really?). We have been playing this game over a year for free and I thank them for that but now since we all are investing time and money, I feel that we're entitled to some information. I'm not trying to bash Yoshida and the devs because they are really doing a good job. Every update has made the game better and all the hard work they are putting in is really appreciated. All I'm asking is to be thrown a bone once in a while.

i think the problem is when i patch is already past deadline maybe its no the best idea to go a week without updating your sites homepage to show your customers what you've been up too. You wouldn't not show up to work for a week and and not tell them would you. we are customers, they work for us.

There is plenty of things they could have posted to lead up to the prod letter, instead they chose silence.

Dude, even i am a little disappointed. Now there is a weekend and a monday (probably) between us and potential information.
Im of the opinion, 'it will come when it comes' and when it does people will quickly forget this week (as it is definitely one to forget, even with the Reinheart thread).

Actually I've moved from Italy to the States to England and noticed that Brittons are even more demanding in regards to customer service. You can literally return anything you want anytime for any reason at all, it's pretty crazy.

I want 1.21 as much as the next guy but getting information about it isn't going to make it come any faster. Staring at paint doesn't make it dry faster.

Going to be a lot more pissed if the complainers cause them to rush the update and something's incomplete about it.

Not at all. Read the thread. Most people aren't bitching to rush the update; they're just concerned that they haven't done so much as say "We've pushed the patch back to a mid-March release." Sure, we'd QQ, but I think everyone would prefer a good, delayed update to a rushed one. What we've got now is more like a MIA update. xD

I'm sure a single body could take 5 minutes off from coding to send some screenshots to Bay and Rukk, who would happily put them into a nice forum post and post away. ^^

Its not about wanting a rushed patch. Its about the abysmal handling of it all. If they left out little bit of info in the form of media for us to look at and talk about there wouldn't nearly be as much ("big word") vitriol floating about. We'd have mostly topics jawing over what we saw in clips and pictures and exciting info.

Try thinking of it as no news being good news (I think I've said this before for a previous patch). A lack of lodestone updates means they're putting all their time and money working on the next game update.

It's not like they're sitting on their hands humming sakura. And as devs have informed us before, it takes time and money to make these updates. Having to go by every higher up to make sure they're okay with it along with typing it up and choosing what they can show, and having it translated and run through again for other countries.

I'm not saying I'm completely peachy about the lack of updates, but it's not that big of a deal for something that's a temporary inconvenience.

Are you kidding me? I'm not American either and I also think American are more entitled than most but that still does not justify what SE is doing. Their customer service is not satisfactory by any means or standards unless you live in a hut and get your news by pigeons. SE made promises and asked us for money. Many argue that we pay for playing not patches. However, patches are the carrots that leads us to paying, I dont know one person who would remain in this game with promises of future patches. If you're doing a crappy job you're going to be called out on it in a real world no matter if you're in America, Japan, or any other country. SE is being called out because of that not because Americans are out to relive WWII.
