Legal RMT is in no way better than our current cash shop system. We might have more items, but the ability to purchase in-game currency with real money in any capacity has been one of the major factors leading to Wow's decline in popularity.

gaias outfit but not her hair.. hmm..
wish they had added separate pieces, id love to mix / match her set in glamours.
First off I need you to understand that I don't really have a stake in this fight. I've long felt this is something that has long been lost and have myself moved on from caring.
With that out of the way I really need you to provide some proof for what you just said cause it really sounds like something you really would like to be true but you just pulled out of your rear end. C'mon show the class.
I'll also be clear that I also don't have a stake in this. I have no love for the cash shop and have made extremely few purchases via it as a result. That being said, the purpose of Wow tokens is to create a tangible, legal link between in-game currency and real money. That's exactly what RMT is, which is why RMT is something that is, by all intents and purposes, legal in Wow.
Guess I wasn't clear so we'll try again. Provide proof that the ability to purchase in-game currency with real money in any capacity has been one of the major factors leading to Wow's decline in popularity.
This video is really interesting and contains a pretty detailed history that addresses stats, timelines and provides comparisons between various active mmos that exist today and the significance of in-game currency attached to real money like Wow tokens. The person who uploaded it is not some FFXIV nerd, just an mmo player who has played or is currently playing plenty of different mmos.

I'm so depressed it's a one piece. Even if it's not dyeable they could've split the pieces so we can glam them with other gear T_T whhyyyyyyy
I get that the mogstation team just want to have the least work possible by just making the set one piece...
But heck, the shoes' 3D assets are visibly disconnected from the dress... why not go just an extra length to make them separate? I bet it would instantly make the item more desirable. I would surely purchase it if was the case.
Because it would make the item more desirable for people who don't want to just do cosplay, but mix and match pieces? On that note, I wonder how many purchased Alphinaud's 1st outfit just beause of the hairstyle, for example.
Plus, there's little consistency... Ryne has her items separate into shoes/dress/pants. Gaia don't.
