Im not really bitching tbh. Also it seems that this is all the forum is about anymore, so even if i was, how do any of my comments vary from the rest of posts/threads on this forum. And imo i do indeed feel that crafting multiples of materia onto gear requires a great deal of skill. Call it luck....call it whatever you like. It was as easy as you claim, or doesnt require skill, plz tell me why everyone doesnt walk around with quad melded gear.

Several hunderd million gil go into the making of some of the gear... and that's not close to what would have been spent in total to make it all. I'm still using a double meld INT Brand and trying to triple them and failing... I've stopped making my own double melds since the price of 16+16 Brands are around 5mil now.. I just buy one for 5mil and blow it up trying to triple. I've wasted about 30mil doing this, just for lightning brands. Thankfully now I bought a +52 INT Triple meld hat from the wards that was crazy cheap for 40mil....

my LS can consistently get garuda to 15% before astral flow with only 3 blms, and we've inconsistently gotten her as low as 10%. you don't need triple melds to burn her down before astral flow with 5-6 blms. gear smarter, play smarter, easy as pie.

i think the problem is more fundamental.
dont you think it is amazing how its even possible for a tank to keep hate with such a tactic?
and i dont mean its because the tank is good which he may/may-not be.. im talking about the mechanics that are involved.
if DD go absolutely all out there should be no way a tank can hold hate, no matter what gear he has.. then maybe we will find people wont just take BLM to everything because the amount of damage that can be output is limited by this factor.
so people will figure "well we can only do X damage in Y time-frame or we take hate", so there wont be any difference between max damage whether it is a BLM or a DRG doing it.
of course WS timers inhibit this because you cant really take hate even if you proc every weaponskill when the timers up... but alot of people dont seem to agree with me on WS timers so ill leave it at that lol. -

When both parties BLM and Tank get into this routine then there shouldnt be much of a reason to pull hate ever. Don't forget the Collusion pull with maddening potion and maybe antagonize(?) stacked.
It's not like Darth and I met last week and decided to do garuda >.>
I do the same doing MNK burn on Miser. I've timed my combos so that I'll always have my Howling Fist up a couple seconds before his Collusion is ready. Keeps me in the yellow for most of that fight until the Str potion goes off and I climb back up to red.
