I care about game balance. It matters.
Do you think I would be taking the airship if they implement this? Hell no.
If they enabled an option to toggle infinite HP on and off, would I keep god mod off when doing ifrit runs for equip and such? Hell no.
Doesn't mean its good design and it doesn't mean it won't ruin that aspect of the game.
You're making very broad assumptions about how it's going to work when nothing has been explained so you can say it's making Airships die. You're also jumping to the conclusion that the entire playerbase will set their HPs in two cities which, spoiler alert:
They won't
- Yes and it will still be available and used in the situations where a teleport can't get the job done (i.e. getting to a third city, and a fourth when Ishgard is opened)
- Here comes the bulls**t blanket "stop liking what I don't like" term
- They will still be available, this will not stop devs from doing this
- And... they will still be available to use when teleports don't cut it. And fyi, new gil sinks can always be created.
A lot of people use airships. The one in uldah always has people waiting.
It seems pretty clear in that japanese translation.
Set Inn in gridania.
Set HP in uldah.
Want to go to the inn in uldah? Return to uldah, then walk to the inn.
(Works the other way around too)
