I am not sure if she completely remembers everything in Namai (as in everything done to the people of Doma) or just that one scene. She still kinda acts way more childlike unlike after what happens with her parents. Also she remembered even more when she met them. (I am also not 100% sure if she says in german that she remembers everything. For me at least that scene was more about Tsuyu realizing that she did something bad and maybe a few scenes to that and apologies for something that she still does not fully understand. (She is shaken up by those memories which kinda implies to me that she is still not fully her, while later she is probably more shaken up by feeling guilty thanks to the positive feelings she got from Gosetsu.) But thats all speculating. Its kinda interesting how you can interpret it in so many different views and I did like the MSQ quite a lot.

Went back to watch the cutscenes again about tsuyu

I'm inclined to say that Yotsuyu came back completely after the meeting with her forster parents, but her staying with Gosetsu had an effect on her, in ENG she says if only she didn't remember and wonders why Gosetsy doesn't hate her, she doesn't speak his name so I'm just assuming it's him, because on their relationship during 4.0. I think in a way that she reminds of herself and how she was stepped on by others and while she choose vengeance and hate, he choose compassion and kindness. This is why he appears in the adds phase or so I believe it is from what I can gather. It's possible we won't never be able to know for sure 100%, because there's a bit of out of character for her. I suppose they wanted to play a bit with it, the facxt that beside the initial scene we don't have a Yotsuyu and Gosetsu scene again makes things hazy in my opinion. .

@DamianFatale: Spoiler tags are just the nice way to help that people can read through this thread even if they did not do every single quest in this patch. Since its not even one week after the patch its quite bad to spoiler like that.

So... with only 2 more patches, how do you think the 4 lords story will be done? Because we might need 2 lords per patch.

I could see one fight with 2 of them, but two would be redundant.

I was also expecting us to fight the one that is trapped ('forgot its name)

Do you guys think we'll finish the 4lords story in 5.X?

Regarding the Four Lords:

I also found the whole notion that a member of a beast tribe could become an auspice a little...strange.

It makes me wonder about nature of Seiryu, considering all the pre-established lore we have for dragons. They routinely live over 1000 years and naturally are possessed of sapience and phenomenal power even before they reach that age. I suppose it's possible it may have been a more lowly sort of reptile like a snake or lizard originally.

They've already stated that the 4.x patch cycle might go on longer then 3.x and with the expansion currently planned for late 2019, that could mean we'll be going as far as 4.8 if they stuck to the one patch per three months schedule.

I think 4.6 is a possibility right now, also I kinda expect they would want to complete

I didn't overmeld that much to throw that away at 4.5 for a new set T_T

As I recall the reason for possibly going past 4.5 was stated to be Return to Ivalice... I don't remember where, but I read that was why.

That said I don't expect the MSQ to go past 4.5(.5). There are a couple lingering issues (Fordola's path and the Zenos-possessed Elezen) that need to be dealt with, but that's doable within one patch. Afterwards there's just the matter of how we're supposed to get into Garlemald without the Warrior of Light's [in]famous reputation attracting too much attention (if you volunteer to go with Thancred on his scouting mission he shuts you down for that exact reason).

There are things that can be done past 4.5(.5) story (Omega could go past the third tier, Ivalice can have more than three parts, Kohryu could be the real final boss of the Four Lords series), but...

The MSQ's may go beyond x.5 unless we're getting the expansion sooner than expected. It'd allow us to deal with more stuff around the Far East and set up more plot points for the coming expansions. We've got at least two more patches that we expect but it's still roughly a year until the typical release date for a new expansion. So we may get an 'early' expansion, an extra content patch or...we'll be stuck with a long wait at the back end of Stormblood.

They could release a third crafting set ilv 360....

In regards to the four lords, while the 2 remaining are a given as Trials, it'd be interesting to see them connect another dungeon to the questline, and have Kouryu be the final boss. Yes it'd be similar to Nidhogg and Genbu but it'd be interesting. Bit who's to say they can't add more than just the one fight and its extreme. Let's do more relic trials, Hildibrand trials, Odin, etc. ARR had a lot, why cant we get more.
