Honestly the game changed so much in the past year, can't really blame me right?
Anyways, sometimes it's good to give the community a good laugh.

I don't really see how changing to a teleport system will force anyone to explore. The only thing that would do that would be to force people to visit an aetheryte before being able to port there.
Casting a spell to travel to a camp vs using anima. I don't really see a difference at all in making the world more explorable. All I see is that one way is what xi did, and it would be more nostalgically pleasing to have it that way to some at the expense of others. Forcing people to have a class leveled for the convience.
I do think that, as I said earlier, people should have to visit a camp first to teleport there. I just don't really see a point in switching from anima to magic for nostalgia's sake.
My take on the debate of anima is and always has been. Anima is fine, maybe needs a slightly better refresh rate. Or they need to add some central teleports, like 1 per map or something. I'd prefer the faster anima time. People who say its ok as is either take everyone elses port and hoards their anima, or doesnt mind runnin on a chocobo for an hour to get to their destination.
Same tired arguments against anima are coming up again.
This has already been discussed incredibly thoroughly and the argument against anima's current implementation is incredibly weak.
If you are actually interested in seeing how the community feels about it check out the following thread.

This thread is a waste of time, as the reasons for keeping anima as is in a post 1.20 world are even more prevalent than they were in the above thread.
I love this: "You don't want anima, don't use it."
A: Teleporting!
B: K, I'll meet you guys there.
B runs to chocobo rental NPC and disappears.
Do you really think this would end well?
Do you honestly suggest the alternative? You should use anima in that situation. That's the entire reason to keep anima in the game as it is.
To put it better:
"If you want to explore you should go explore"
This is what is meant by "If you don't like anima don't use it." because the main argument against it is for reasons of exploration. It's your own fault for not exploring and not immersing yourself, not SE's, not anyone else's.
If you accept a party invite and decide to explore instead of meeting up with the group you're just being a dick for the sake of being a dick. You want to explore, don't accept a party invite for experience points. You want to explore in a party, get an exploration party together. If you want to start leveling on mobs and start actually playing the game then use your anima get to what you want to do even faster.
