Well im sure they wont really throw in just anything into the game, but I can see what you mean. Perhaps they will most likely throw something in if it is mentioned a few times from each region. We all have a grasp on how MMORPGs work and which ones use which systems.
Though, its the fact that we just want FFXIV to be the greatest MMORPG not later, but right now! Its not going to happen so quickly.
I'd rather be discussing ways of how to implement the dev####s in unique ways, instead of ripping directly from other MMORPGs. Ex. The Two-Tier Class System Thread. As opposed to re-using FFXI's Job System, it's a much better way to feel progression throughout the game, and it doesn't hinder individuality at all.
This isn't exactly an idea of its own, hence the [dev1033] in the title. Its purely a discussion on the best way to implement said system. We shouldn't have to throw in our own ideas, the devs have a large workload already, and they know what is possible and impossible to include in the game.
Sorry, but slot cost for jewelry was a dumb idea from day one. It hasn't made sense to "upgrade" after brass-rank stuff because anything else was a noticeable drop in stats.
Removing this limitation is a no-brainer.
its good idea, but cost rising with accesory level is somewhat stupid. i like the system but as whole game, it is badly balanced
Please have us do things in the game to unlock stuff. Don't just give us the accessory slots!!!!
