linking with a group will still give more sp then solo
the change will give the solo player the bonus though so that they can get a fair ammount from it too
groups will still get a link bonus, and they will be able to do it on higher star count(to maximize sp gain) unlike a soloer who may be stuck on 1-2 star

But it was leve-link oriented, and now it will be individually orientated, right? Meaning faster solo/casual leveling. I just personally don't want to level faster, that's all. But a lot of people do, so it's a good business move.

Leves were always supposed to be for people who have no time to play MMORPGs. They did originally say it will be the main point of the game because they were trying to make it casual friendly. So now it's being put in its' place.

Levelinks give a ton of SP/XP right now, they're wanting to reduce that to make less of a difference between solo leves vs. group leves.

But I do hope leveling gets quicker. 20-30 is a long and boring grind.

it will get faster. SQEX doesn't want the focus to be on leveling anymore. Much like GW2 who they are going to have to compete with, sideways character progression is where they're gonna focus. Which is awesome :D

Either way, they showed us a video of the battle system that they pretty much said "Well, this is what we have, this probably isn't what its going to be though". And no word has been released on jobs. All of this after 9 months. Yeah, you're right. I'm in the wrong.

You payed 70$ and could play for 9month for free and you only play 20$ i can see how you feel that you did not get what you payed for but really? you could have got all 50 by now and then wait for the game to get good and when you return you have shit load to do due to having everything 50 and shit load of gil.

So really i don't see where you waste your money i mean everyone knew that from open beta this game would have not change much and be a fail if you want to waste the money on CE then you did not a waste of money seeing how this game going to become great but seeing how you only waste 20hours and bet you don't even have 1 50 you going to enjoy the game even less due to everything being rank 35+ :(

Also GW2 looks awesome, may have to split my time between this and that if this game shapes up by GW2's release.
