Its times like these i wish i could set up a macro for refreshing
Official response. They quote simply congestion due unanticipated demand as the cause.Quote:
World transfers cannot be properly performed due to character data not being obtained correctly.
Whoever is in charge of deciding their "expectations" needs to be fired or have all of their numbers multiplied by 100.
Kinda weird at the moment. Refreshing the additional services shows one of three results.
Either it shows "connection error" where my characters would show up, only JP data center characters or only NA data center characters, or all characters at once.
Currently the farthest i have been able to get is to select my destination world and hit confirm. After which it says i have no characters available for transfer but shows all 4 of the characters on that server. The origin drop down box still says ----------------.

Seeing this over and over yeah squeenix can you blame us for being annoyed or pissed off?
The irony is, i am fully capable of performing the transfer IN REVERSE. I am able to transfer characters away from my destination server back to my origin server, but not the actual direction i wish to go.
I want to go from Leviathan to Tonberry, but upon selecting Tonberry as my destination i get ------------- in the origin drop down box. If i select Leviathan, my origin world as my destination world, i can then select my destination world Tonberry as my origin world.
Go figure.
