Make sure you install the drivers ahead of time. I heard the controller has problems if you don't install the drivers. The nice thing about the controller is that you can assign double the amount of features because of the function button. I prefer the FFXIVs L2 and R2 buttons over the PS3's controller actually. :)
When I connected my controller to my PC, it installed everything by itself. I had way more issues setting up the X360 controller I used before I bought this XIV controller. :)
Got 1 in use, and 2 in its original plastic :D
