Microtransactions has nothing to add to FFXIV, I'll gladly pay the monthly fee. Equal content for all equal players. The market today does not demand it, It's just a way for developers to attract new players. Look at GW2, I have been playing this from the start, and like any other mmo, server merge is in the books. But putting that aside, I don't feel or think that GW2 will be the success everyone hoped it would be. The whole game feels too unpersonal for my taste, I have no connection with quests if you can call it that. Everything is about running mindlessly around doing random stuff. I don't pay attention to what is going on because it just doesn't feel worth looking into. Anyways i'm drifting off the wrong side of what this discussion is about.. No to microtransactions!
