Tome grind lets me play at MY pace in the content I choose, not the alternate route CBU3 decides to gatekeep the relics behind.

Result? I do roulettes to get my tomes and in doing so help other people with what they need.

If you saved tomes before or are no-lifing all of them in a week, you have no business complaining about how easy they are to get. That's on you. You chose to do that.

Bozja and Eureka can't be unsynced and they're largely dead content now.

doing HW relics recently. The entire thing is basically all poetics with a few more interesting things added in.

Surely next expansions relic's will be tied to the rumored new Field Operation and people can complain about how hard it is again.. or something.. (assuming they did at the time)

HW relics were basically just poetics. EW relics aren't really different from the past except the duties aren't assigned. You do whatever you want for tomes. The whole reason they probably assigned those duties in the past was to keep the duty finder churning. It wasn't to create engaging gameplay. It's kind of funny that people are nostalgic for it.

People complain about everything, so yes they did complain about Eureka and Bozja. Look at this thread, people are complaining that something they already knew was going to happen happened. They persist in complaining even though a new field operation has been announced.

No relic ever was. They were always designed to be a boring grind because this is an MMO and while the genre has made large steps away from the likes of OSRS it can not shake off its history entirely.

It will not, they already said DT will focus on group content, go play a single player game if you want to play solo, don’t bring down one of the very few large MMOs left when there’s dozens of single player titles.

I was not at all surprised, yet somehow still super disappointed. SE, this is my feedback on this expansions relics. It was lazy, boring and unimaginative.

I liked the Manderville stuff as usual, but that is it's own content.

Endwalker relics have got to be the biggest sore point for me this expansion. I see a lot of people doing Bozja and Eureka to try and stay busy during out next content drought. Or you know, playing other games as so many people get told to do here.
