Hey Im with you. I dont want the WoW toxicity here too. Hell there's a few on this very thread who fit the bill.

But I gotta repeat myself here in wanting some hard evidence. Like I said earlier in WoW its very easy to find and document toxicity. Right now the only hard evidence of toxicity in game comes from the FF14 community with how they tried to sabotage Asmongolds gameplay.

lol, you don't get out much. Plenty of toxicity in FFXIV from the bowels of RP to raiding.

Most I've seen ingame has been from the trolls early pulling hunts.

Very true, but sadly you have people who try to list anything actually factual and backed up by real world data as fake news, turning believing factual data into a political leaning. In other words, people are turning everything political because they cannot handle reality.

Well, to take a counter stance to that I would say it's not necessarily the data that issue is taken with but rather how that data is interpreted. Two people can see the same data and come to two different conclusions, who is right?

Some dude called me a slur a few days ago, doesn’t mean the entire games toxicity is off the charts. One person doesn’t turn the whole game into a cesspool they stand out more but aren’t the majority

Well, if the data is 1+1=2, and 1 guy says no its fish, no matter how much he interprets it differently, he's wrong.

If you screw up your floating point math unit, 1+1=3 for very large values of 1.

Issue with this is that's not data interpretation nor even really data. That's a shallow point being made with math.

Good data tends to only have 1 objective interpretation though. If it's "open ended" it's bad data and shouldn't be used.

At least, scientifically.

Subjective data is different, but that's opinions, and not really the same thing.
