They regretted locking jobs behind expansions, so I highly doubt we will get new jobs starting higher than lvl 50. It doesn’t make sense to start at lvl 60 when you are still in ARR content when the job becomes available.

They chose 30 originally since that was when you got your job stones. They then changed it to 50 so you didn’t need to go level it to continue the story after you finish the 2.0 story (when the jobs become available).

This bit of information I was unaware of but for me 50 is still to high, it's better then 60 but I prefer level 1 Which Is How they sold Me On Blue Mage A Job I already Wanted to play in 14 and now get to level from the start... if it is successful every and any future limited job I would most likely gravitate towards Because i like To have a purpose in the overworld beside seeing people stand next to me with the newest mount they just Recieved

Except blu is a solo job, it can't participate in any expansion content. New jobs can and are intended to be played in endgame content. It would simply make it impossible to play with who you want, in what you want, as what you want, if jobs started at 1.

It simply isn't happening and for good reason.

If they made it optional I see no issue. Just do not make it mandatory. Something like this seems like a toggle issue. I mean they would not even have to create job quests at the lower levels, just make it so you acquire the skill as you level until you hit the original intended level starting point.

What Op is suggesting isnt a bad thing.The problem is we'd need to move the npcs for job quests to the 3 starting cities.
There's a reason behind this.Especially for example jobs that are extremly popular with casuals like dark knight.
There are many who play whatever job until they unlock heavensward and then purchase jump pot on dark just to continue story with it.
This is part of the reason there are so many clueless dark knights after lvl 60.
You'd probably actually get more new players though if they had instant access to the new jobs.I'd rather that happend and they learn the job from lvl 1 instead of hititng random buttons at lvl 50+
There is still of course the issue with players being able to level in potd which lets be honest should never have been allowed.
I suggest buffing the items you can get in potd and HOH and introducing weekly challenges instead for potd to give you a smaller xp boost.

It's about the same minority that wanted Ultimate raids, why allocate funds and resources to that then? We can't allow one and not the other.

This is one case where everyone can be happy, so that sounds like a good reason to me. I don't consider leveling from 1 attractive in any way, but if other players would enjoy the option, why not let them have it?

It's A Job For Solo Players, And It Doesnt Make it impossible to play With Who I want because I mainly Play With my FC Only And We All Going To Level Blue Mage... End Game Is Now A Very Loose Term Because it can be whatever you want From Glamour to Ultimate Depending on what type of player you are. I'm glad people Understand the want for the level 1 option in my opinion its shortens the Giant Raiding Hamster wheel before the next patch

Personally, I would enjoy the option of resetting the level for a maxed out job. That may be just me, though. If the trust system is how I think it might be, I would definitely take advantage of going back to level 1 with a particular job.
